Hill could override the training staff. It's a must win game for crying out loud. You just don't come back from 0-3 against anybody much less this Warriors team.
Hill has lost a ton of money from the injuries he's had this season. If he stays with us, I think it's a combo of Hayward and we pay him a competitive salary. At this point, I don't care either way if he stays or goes. If he stays, yes we have more options. If he stays, we can't rely on him every game or to be the defensive stopper he once was. If he leaves, we take a step back at PG because Exum isn't going to run the offense as well as Hill. But then again, the playing time will force him to get there or get gone.
Hill isn't my biggest concern. Winning a game in this series is followed by Hayward's decision. Hill is way down the list...
Start Exum and give Lyles playing time! Mack won't be here next season (Snyder permitting) and Diaw neither!
I think it is the jazz medical staff, not hill making that call.
If Hill said he could go, he would play.Uhh, no. Pretty sure the medical staff reports to DL/Quin and they override everyone.
Welp, we better impress.
The way I imagine it working is the medical staff sees how it looks and asks how it feels. Then the jazz make the call. I guess hill could say it feels great, but they were paying attention to how he looked during shootaround.
Exactly. To act like he doesnt have input is ignorant. His say, their opinion and the situation all plays a part. On an expiring contract and we hope to resign him, we wouldn't tell him no if he insisted. We don't have a long term investment in him.The way I imagine it working is the medical staff sees how it looks and asks how it feels. Then the jazz make the call. They don't have an investment in him. Hes expiring. If he tears a toe tendon, we aren't out anything. If we make it to a game 6, our revenue is worth the toe risk.Yeah cuz the Jazz don't have a financial investment in his health. They don't own the building and team. The employees are in charge. I heard that the Jazz Dancers will be dancing to Prodigy's "smack my bitch up" tonight cuz they feel like it.
Hill is a big part of it. Not only on him.So stupid that people think it's Hills choice.
