Game 3 Thread: 6:30 PM MT Time

If this team were healthy, I think we could easily push this to a 6 game series. George Hill was ****ing incredible this season pre-toe injury. It's just sad how it ended up. It's cool to see Hayward going up and putting up great games vs an all-time great team and Gobert playing great also. There is something to be said about finding out Hayward/Gobert are more than just "consistently productive players". I think they are legitimate stars.
I think you're right. The problem is this - we aren't and can't stay healthy. Hood, Favors, Hill and Burks are liabilities. Every team is allowed a couple, but we have 4 of our top 7 players who are liabilities.

We have to consider adding pieces who are more reliable.

100%. This team is at the point that it can't afford missing it's key components for half a season or more, plus key playoff games. The window can close extremely fast for sports teams.

I know guys have mentioned it, but Quin lost supporters last night. Mack plays 37 minutes and Exum plays 3. The last thing we need is to be questioning the coach. That is a massive hit to a team trying to build a contender.

Every realistic fan knows that we weren't a contender this year. However, we aim to be contenders within the next couple years with the necessary development. Our chances for contention lies with Gobert, Hayward, Favors, Hood and Exum.

Playing Mack 37 minutes and Exum 3 is illogical. If Hill was 100% healthy, playing Exum only 3 minutes still is illogical. Quin created doubters last night.

Gotta somewhat disagree here though. I don't think Quin has a choice because Dante is still at stage one of his development. While Mack can do some stupid **** on a regular basis, Dante has done the same if not worse. Mack at this stage is more NBA ready.

I do agree that 3 minutes is way too low, but I think it's based more on experience. Dante is still extremely raw in that area.

Of course he is and I'm not saying it should have been flipped. The minutes in game 2 were 31 to Mack and 14 to Exum I think. I think it could be closer than that, but it was much more appropriate in my opinion.

Exum came into the game and gave up 4 easy points by committing stupid fouls and took a contested 3 in transition. Of course he only played 3 minutes, he was a **** show.

On the long list of things Exum should never do in a NBA game, taking a transition 3, above the break, is near the top.

Mack had multiple stretches that were as bad or worse. And one of those fouls on Exum was a terrible call.

Players have different jobs. Exum coming into a game and taking a bad transition 3 tells me his head isnt where it needs to be to contribute in a big game.

Mack getting beat on a backdoor when guarding Curry nonetheless and missing two easy layups and double dribbling definitely makes it seem like his head is in the game.

You're tiring and argue just to argue you even admitted it. You can't possibly watch the games and think "Mack gives us more of a chance to win". News flash we're down 3-0 and he has played heavy minutes every game. Give me a ****ing break.

I definitely do and Quin Snyder, NBA professional coach of a 51 win NBA team, seems to agree with me.

Does it ever dawn on you that you argue against the majority on literally every topic? You probably think everyone is always wrong and you're always right. It's literally every topic you always have something to argue about. You're the definition of a contrarian dude. You wait around on JF daily (you have 62,000 posts for ****s sake) and just wait for people to say something you can pounce on. You post on twitter non-stop too. Your whole life revolves around arguing with people on your phone.

You are really salty that I thought Mack did a good job. Cool that you resort to personal insults than actual basketball facts. Sure you feel better about yourself now.

I was telling people Hayward was a star 4 years ago when people cried about maxing him out. Am I arguing against Hayward now that everyone has come around? Maybe I just have stronger opinions than the reactive majority.

Way to avoid everything I said as usual. We're down 3-0 and Mack's massive struggles in the 4th are a big reason.

Mack playing well in the first 3 quarters are a massive reason we are even in these games at all. Yes, Mack has trouble hanging with the Warriors starting units in the 4th quarter. Surprise, but the hate he gets is laughable. He is the best option and he deserves the minutes. If Hood could do anything in his minutes, we wouldn't have to put such a huge burden on Mack to do as much.

Gobert and Hayward are carrying this team. It's laughable that you think Mack is a big reason why we're in the games. That's the funniest **** I'll read all week.
