Following potential 2017 draftees...

Meantime, the Nets, Miami Heat and Utah Jazz have reached out in recent days to Diallo’s AAU coach, Andy Borman of the NY Rens. The Jazz have two first-round and two second-round picks, while the Heat pick at 14.

Jazz interest in Diallo is real it seems like.

I'm not sure what to make of the Frank Jackson news. When he entered the draft, but it seemed unlikely he could fall to jazz at 42 I jokingly said he should fake an injury and have his cousin accuse him of being addicted to opioids so he would fall to the jazz. But if he really does have a foot injury .....

I don't know anything about Franks injury, but as a long time jazz fan I can't help but think of Curtis borchart.

Because people use that a lot. It's the 2nd half of the season when he got into a rhythm. He showed a progression against stronger competition.

67% FT shooting isn't terrible. It's not like he was in the low 60's or 50's. It's not like he is Jonah Bolden

How's that compare with Wilson? I see no reason to limit sample size... all basketball season have a beginning middle and end. You can pick any arbitrary sample size and it will make guys look better or worse.

I'm sure the Jazz got his medical records from the Combine or will get them from his agent. Foot issues matter more for big guys -- 7-footers who put a lot of strain on their body. See Brook Lopez. This could affect his draft stock though, since it stops his workouts.

It's not arbitrary.... Do you know the definition of arbitrary? "based on random choice or personal whim, rather than any reason or system." Yes, the sample does fit my personal feelings of Kuzma (being a high upside shooter) but there is a very specific reasoning behind it and not one that I just set up to fit my beliefs.

Arbitrary would be like if I chose a random date. Like after February 2nd Kyle Kuzma did so and so, just because I looked at a set and saw after February 2nd he played well.

Me picking the start of the PAC-12 season is a very specific and reasoned date. It's the start of a (relatively) consistent competition level with road/home games and not the usual home heavy fodder that comes with the non-conference season.

How about we put aside Kuzma and Wilson and talk more about Bolden.

Start with the left-handed inside-out dribble, cross-up and drive at 1:00 of this video.

If it didn't fit your narrative you would not have used it. I didn't say it was arbitrary I said you can pick any arbitrary date range.

Kuzma's RPG, APG, BPG and FT% all went down during conference play. Cy cherry-picked his 3PT%.

You are an absolute ****ing idiot if you think I cherry picked anything. We are talking about his 3pt shooting so I'm looking at his 3pt shooting.

And yes, it's kind of a given some of his counting stats are going to go down a bit when he isnt playing a powerhouse like NW Nazarene where he can get 19 rebounds while just playing 29 minutes. Dont sit here and act like it dropped that much though. The man get up a better rebounding rate than Bam Adebayo as his team's primary scoring option.
