What's new

If the Jazz lose Hayward I'm done with the NBA.

Surprisingly, i've made peace if he chooses to leave, and I really feel we will be fine. Maybe hood and Exum step up and Lyles moves past last years disaster and Gobert continues to get better, and Favors and Burks get 100% healthy. Either way I'll be good

Is that supposed to be a reference to the Celtics?

I can understand the sentiment in the thread title. You draft a guy, go through a multi-year re-build, build your team around the player, help him develop into an All Star, and just when the team is making strides, starting to win in the playoffs, etc., the guy decides he wants to leave. It's his right though. Chris Paul bolted for LA, Carmello for NY, Dwight for the Lakers, etc. It just makes it sweet when these players fail on their big-market teams.
The irony of that is that all of those players you mentioned were traded to those teams.

Good lord.

I'm more stricken by the fact that they are dressing the kid in left over Old Navy St, Patrick's Day gear. Seems pretty damn Utah to me. . .

Go Green is an environmental conservation theme. The clover isn't exactly the Celtics clover, but the combination of the two are pretty inauspicioous.

I'm going to assume this had no relation to the Celtics since Hayward and his wife could not possibly be this dumb. Hayward has not said anything about his decision I'd doubt he would finally give a hint by using his baby's t-shirt.

Not the same thing at all. Are you saying that you agree that analysts were claiming that Trump had a decent chance of winning. The media was almost universally predicting a blowout for Clinton. Not only did they not think he had a chance, they didn't even think it was going to be close. Seems completely silly and revisionist to be arguing otherwise at this point.

FiveThirtyEight had Trump at .286 on election day.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/

That is not silly or revisionist, it's just a fact.

They even bothered to make a prediction of "Clinton wins popular vote but loses Electoral College", at .105. A .105 pitcher gets a hit one-out-of-every-10 at bats. Relatively rare, I guess, but it still happens all the time. If people interpret .286 or .105 as "no chance at all", that's their own mistake.

Breaking... word is Robyn was spotted in a Best Buy this morning and the kids were dressed in rompers depicting a sun and beach... So the Heat are very much still in play.

No word on where the items were acquired or if they were on sale.

KD certainly ruined the NBA. Thank goodness the Jazz are good right now or else I would have a hard time watching the regular season, that's for sure.

My Hayward anxiety level is at a 10... will be until he signs.

If Hayward and Hill leave we should strip it down to just Gobert, Exum, Lyles, and whatever we draft. No more half rebuilds. Move anything we can for future draft picks... keep burks and Favs to maybe build up their value again. If we find middling replacements we are a mid 40s win team... rip off the bandaid hard and get a high lotto pick in 2018...

All the non-Hayward options are depressing... I'm mentally preparing for the worst.

If you look at the landscape behind them there was snow on the ground.

She took it down

Sent from my A0001 using JazzFanz mobile app

I shudder to think about what was said to her by Jazz fans prior to her taking it down. This is exactly the type of **** we don't need. Idiotic fans overreacting about a pic of a child's tshirt that they saw on the internet. While it's a very small percentage of fans doing it, that type of behavior isn't exactly endearing. It ranks right up there with college fans that tweet negative **** at 17 year old football recruits.
