NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

Boston is pretending to want to compete now instead of re-loading for post Lebron/Warriors. I'm not convinced that they really want to compete right now instead of hoarding assets for the future. The only reason they want Hayward is because they can afford him and they have to do something. I don't think they're looking to build a contender. Hopefully Hayward can see that too.

Teague vs Rubio?

Could we have gotten Teague???

Rubio is a much better defender for sure, but Teague is a better shooter. Passing is a wash at the moment.

passing is not a wash. Not even close. ****e, just watch with your own eyes.

With everyone coming to the west, it's now HIGHLY likely hayward bolts to Boston (I already knew this over a year ago and it's happening).

Hayward stays. Boston is NOT trying to win now. They passed on Butler and PG13 who they could have acquired for scraps. I'd bet Boston does nothing this summer. Ainge is keeping his picks and cap space. Waiting for Golden State and Cleveland to fall apart. Or waiting for a chance to acquire a transcendent talent. Wouldn't be surprised to see him target Lebron and Westbrook next summer. Hayward is comin home to the Jazz. Right where he belongs.
