The Jazz have acquired the 13th pick and select Donovan Mitchell

Love this kid. Rudy Gobert is the only other draft pick that I've been this happy about. Perfect fit for the Jazz organization. Hope he gets good minutes, because I think he has impact rookie of the year type of potential.

He has the smooth shot of Hood and the athleticism of Burks with the bbiq of Hayward. Lets hope he carves out some playing time this season and stays healthy. I am getting excited about him and have never seen him play a game.

"When the Jazz traded for Ricky Rubio on Friday, he sent Rubio a welcoming tweet in Spanish."
We are so lucky to have him. Jazz have generally tried to get character guys. Yes, there have been exceptions. But now Jazz have high-character guys who are also high-quality players.

And he may never even sniff the court initially with the depth Utah has at the 1-3.

I will miss our best bench cheerleader. Nobody celebrated better on our bench than Lyle's. Time for Bolomboy to step up?

Lillard's offense, Bradley' defense.

This is from the guy who said rookie Gordon Hayward would be the next Manu Ginobli. (some of you scoffed).

What if Mitchel outplays Exum in the Summer League?

That would be great to see Mitchell play really well. It depends why he outplays him. If Exum sucks really bad and is struggle to do anything then we can start to get worried about Exum, but not that much since its summer league. Many crap players have done very well and many good players have done jack ****. If Exum plays solid and the coaching staff forces him to do some things out of his comfort zone because that is what they like to do in summer league and Mitchell is simply awesome then that is great news!

Don't worry. Donovan Mitchell will fill that role when he's not on the court. He's really supportive of his teammates. Gotta say that Lyles took a step back in the celebration department after a STELLAR rookie season.

right that they both look good, wrong about Exum being on another level. he's was on "another level" for one quarter.

Right that they both look good. Exum showed what the Jazz needed him to show. Confidence, explosion and improved shooting. Player development is alive and well in Utah.

As for Mitchell. . . I'd be really sad right now to have Trey Lyles and Tyler Lydon. Denver fans must feel robbed. I can't help but wonder if the trade for Mitchell was DL's Kawhi Leonard moment for Utah. Still hoping to see his Reggie White moment here really soon.

Man, Mitchell already beastin' and feastin'. I like his aggressiveness and attacks at will, which Dante didn't really have. He might already better than Dante too.
