STAYWARD

I hope he has nightmares tonight of IT in a leprechaun suit, leading him to his pot of gold, only to get chopped up and made into an Irish stew.

I'm gonna be pretty salty if he ends up leaving. He's got a great situation, great team, and no reported issues with anyone on or around the team. Very rare for people to leave that kind of situation.

I'm already kind of salty that it's taking this long. tbh

If he stays think how much this whole ordeal has put Hayward and the Utah Jazz in the National/NBA spotlight. IF he signs with us, yes it all gave us a heart attack, but it's been beneficial for everyone involved.

Everyone knows he wasn't going to decide to go to the celtics until tomorrow or Wednesday. We all will know when it happens. Stay patient noobs

I would be salty as well. I would understand if Boston got Paul George or Jimmy Butler and Hayward had a chance to join a situation that was clearly better. It sucks, but no hard feelings. I would understand. But it's not like that. The Jazz are in a situation as good or possibly even better. We've done everything possible to accommodate him here and give him a great team. He likes everyone involved. I just wouldn't understand at all if he left. I get it's his decision as a free agent but I would still feel salty.

Honestly, even if he stays, it feels like he'd rather be elsewhere. Favors just moved up to #4 on my list. That dude understands loyalty.

The only downside to staying in the West is that it's going to be tough to make the All Star team with all the talent that's migrated over.

Guards: Westbrook, Harden, Curry, Paul, Butler, Klay Thompson, ...

Forwards: KD, Kawhi, Davis, Hayward, George, heck even Millsap, ...

This. It's like he wants to leave no matter what the Jazz do. That's what's pissing me off about this whole ordeal. It feels like he's making the Jazz beg him and demean themselves before him, even though he knows he's leaving. Why the **** is he doing all this?

Long time lurker, very rare poster.

Ummm, wasn't he supposed to give his decision on Wednesday the whole time? I sorta thought that was the plan. Why are people going cray?

I'm sure he'll shoot right back to #2 if he stays. But I'm not super confident that he will right now.

Bright side, we can develop Mitchell and Exum, Hood more play time. And it's still a pretty good team, and very fun to watch with Rubio. Jazz will go on without Gordon Hayward.

No offense, but not sure I agree that it would have any benefit unless he stays. It might actually be the opposite if he doesn't stay. Reinforces the old stereotype about players not wanting to come here. Might even be worse since it's one of our players.

Yeah, it's like begging a girlfriend not to dump you. Doesn't feel so good.
