Yeah, pretty much this.

If Hayward stays, that probably just means it was a troll job by someone else that ESPN just fell for (which I dont blame them for)

If Hayward leaves that probably means he informed a few people and someone had a big mouth. The fact that the info got out and Hayward didnt immediately confirm Boston, and made people wait another entire day, would be pretty ****ing ****ty.
