I find Lavar entertaining and when Lonzo actually talks he's low key funny. I hate that I like them... it will change once they are no longer lovable losers.
 
Just a reminder, I suggested earlier this year that we trade Hayward to Celtics and draft Ball with the pick, and Cy thought that was stupid. ;)

I mean, if I knew he was leaving, yeah it's good. I thought he was staying tho.

So did I. My argument was that since there was a chance he's leaving, it's a good move. Hypothetically, if there's a 30% chance Hayward leaves, then we're trading the pick for 70% of Hayward. There was also a point of disagreement about whether Ball or Fultz was the better prospect.

But that's neither here nor there. The question is, would Boston have traded the pick for Hayward last offseason?

I dont think so. It sounds like their FO thought last year they had a good shot at outright signing him.

And Lonzo isn't a villain at all, it's just his dad. But look at it this way...Lonzo already gets a ton of attention bc of his dad. Kinda like Skip Bayless.

I doubt they would have done it because Ainge was unwilling to give the Pacers the 3rd pick for Paul George. I also think Boston was pretty confident Haywood was coming to Boston.

I like our defensive matches again them. I don't like their defense. They may be fun to watch but I don't fear the Lakers. However, I will give Magic his due because I like his moves he made and it won't be long before the Lakers are competing again. I expect them to make a big jump this year. Which will just make me hate the NBA more, I lived in LA years ago and it sucks being a Jazz fan in LA. I never hated the Lakers until I lived in LA.

Oh they are going to be bad Lonzo's first year. I just think they score a lot.
