If BYU wins, I'm going to be sincerely happy for fishonjazz. I mean it. I'll still be confused about why he's a BYU fan, but I'll be genuinely happy for him for long enough to forget that confusion.

If Utah wins, I'll be like 'Yeah, good... still glad I chose camping.'

Not necessarily. Utah has a completely new offensive system, and the players have exactly 1 games worth of experience running that system against an FCS opponent. Utah's also got a Sophmore QB who's making his second career start overall, and his first against an FBS opponent. Plus, BYU's front 7 is really good. Like, REALLY GOOD. Like, good enough to hold LSU to 27 points in a game in which their offense gave them absolutely ZERO production. I promise you, BYU's front 7 is the sole reason that score wasn't 60-0.

It's not a huge leap to say that with a young QB and new offensive system, Utah could struggle offensively and lose the game. And if that did happen, it doesn't mean that Utah's offense and Huntley couldn't improve with each game and have a pretty nice season as they all gain experience in the offense. Now, I'm not saying any of this is going to happen, but I could see a scenario in which Utah loses tonight and still doesn't take a huge step backwards.

they all picked utah...which means absolutely nothing.

i read somewhere that no 2 teams have had as many close games as utah and byu has. doesn't mean as much as it used to but it's usually a pretty good game to watch amidst all these stinkers.
 
I'm posted up at bout time. Not sure I can hang until the game starts, but if anyone wants to join it'd help.

Not that I care...But isn't Bronco70 a die hard Oregon fan? Or do I have him confused with somebody else?

That was not a pick. Both defenders were guarding the receiver the penalty was called on. They both stopped to engage and the Utah player ran into him running his number route but I get how the ref could miss that call
