Ainge had every right to trade IT. How do you excuse one accepted behavior as not dirty and not another one? Gordan did what he did, He had every right, He chose to do it in the way that most screwed the team he played 7 years for. Ainge traded a player he basically made a star, What Ainge did was far less egregious than what Hayward did. So you say Hayward had no negative Karma but Ainge somehow did. I disagree, Hayward made the far lower class play in this situation, and both did what they had every right, by the rules to do.

Seriously though, I was looking forward to seeing the Jazz play Boston with Hayward. I hate the idea of teams not having their players, and Hayward sustaining this sort of injury truly makes Boston bad, and the Eastern Conference worse than mediocre. This is bad for the parity of the league.

As for Hayward, I hope he makes it back to full health. He did us wrong on 7/4, but I would prefer beating him as retribution.

This kind of injury cannot logically be considered commensurate for the type of “crimes” he has committed against Jazz nation. Karma would be Boston losing to the Jazz in the finals. If something has a potential to end a player’s participation in a professional sport while they are in their prime, i can only comprehend it as tragically unfair. This is what he has chosen to do in life, after all.

Depends if you believe he was really giving all the scenarios actual consideration. Hindsight for me tends to point to he'd decided this long ago and tried to make it look like he hadn't and botched it so bad he had about a 6 week string of douchiness. Never mind.

Be pretty amazing if he gets back to his best after this. Fingers crossed for him.

He'll certainly have plenty of time to catch up on all the phone calls he didn't make.

Seriously, debating about what happened with free agency when an athlete goes down like this seems petty. Regardless, what you think of his free agency decision show a little compassion for a fellow human being. Don't be like that jerk Skip Bayless who has proven again how big of a jerk he is.

I hope Hayward fully recovers and we get an opportunity to play against him and the Celtics. I hope this doesn't end his career because despite everything I enjoy seeing him play.

Maybe mention someone besides Jeremy evans. Maybe thank your coach for helping you become an all star. Maybe call someone from management or even talk to them face to face to say you are leaving.

When his next contract comes up he would be eligible with Boston. Hence an easier path to a super max going to Boston and playing in the east.

The way I look at is that Gordon Hayward doesn't care one damn bit about us or the Jazz organization. In fact he did everything possible to screw us over and make it as painful as he could when he left. So why should I feel bad for him now? You reap what you sow. You treat others the way you want to be treated. I wouldn't wish that kind of injury on anyone. It's terrible. But I'm sorry, there are no tears here. If he would have shown any type of class and decency when he left it would be a different story. But he didn't. He chose to to twist the dagger.

Being petty and revengeful is no way to live your life. Seriously, crap happens there is no reap what you sow bull crap.
