McNuggets at the Jazz - Wednesday, October 18th - 7 PM

At some point this year, it seems pretty certain that Denver will have a top-5 or even top-3 offense. This will be a great test for our D. I'll be drilled in to the Gobert-Jokic match-up, obvi. But, seriously, the 5-out lineups the Nuggets can put out there are big and skilled. The Jazz are gonna have to get serious points. A couple of dudes gonna have to get hot.

I'm going to root for Denver and Paul Millsap tonight to test the waters on switching to a team fully dedicated to winning.

I think PG should be a pretty big mismatch. Hopefully Rubio has a big game as neither Murray or Mudiay are known as good defenders or ball handlers.

That's akin to booing an abused house wive for finally leaving her husband. You ain't a real fan (wife) you can't leave me no matter what I do to you.

Fan logic.

I mean if you can root for Trey Lyles instead of Donovan Mitchell you should do it right?

Anyone here knows why (point) guards like to wear the Number 3? I remembered Burke wearing the 3, then George Hill last year?

Now Rubio is wearing the 3.

Allen Iverson and Stephon Marbury. Those are the players Utah point guards have emulated.

I think it's time for the Jazz to recognize the tremendous contribution Denver has made to our team. Yeah, I know, it's hard to rise above the decades-long rivalry between the teams, but we owe them so much.

So after we kick their asses tonight, Gobert and Mitchell should give their sweaty jerseys to Denver, along with a cactus planter and a "thank you" card.

Then we can get back to hating the dipsticks with a clear conscience.

ONE LOVE, Rubio has always worn number 9, he had to change it because of Larry H. Miller's #9 being retired. Now the reason why he chose 3 I have no clue...

This almost made me conflicted about who I should want to win tonight, but then I remembered that you’ve already played this card before but never followed through, so go Jazz!

It’s because he’s going to be breaking the record of three pointers made for the franchise. That or he’s insinuating he’s a member of the holy trinity.

Our team has by far more odd-numbered jerseys than even-numbered. What does this mean????

Seven of our players have prime numbers as their jersey number. And seven is a prime number. I suspect this is a lucky thing.

Or maybe I just need a nap.
