Dante Exum: shoulder injury

Did we determine surgery would be season ending?

I don't think that's for sure certain. It's a wait-and-see approach. He'll be out until the ASB for sure-- but some times this stuff depends on the grade of the injury, what is being done to restore the AC joint, and just the characteristic recovering rates from athlete to athlete. Nate Robinson came back I think 9 months after an ACL tear.

Well, we all know what happened last year with Burks. By the time he came back, he was totally out-of-sync. If I were the Jazz, if he's physically ready to play by AB, I'd let him play with the Stars when he comes back and get all the minutes he can playing PG. They can always bring up Wolters if they need another PG.

Man... this sucks.
My favorite player by a mile. Distance is second. Probably Bogut (and his injuries are no better).

Oh well, I guess it means I can be a bit more team centric this year. Go Jazz :(

I think he's thinking Jazz will make the playoffs and he can get back for the last 10 t0 15 games to get in the groove and be super fresh for the playoffs .

I think he's thinking his doctors are telling him he needs surgery.

Damn, this sucks. Was hoping it wouldn't need surgery.

If that was the case, I think we would have known within a day or two. As much time as it was taking, you could tell they didn't like what they were hearing, and wanted to check every possibility before accepting the truth.

the next theory from hotttleikheeen will be that the jazz FO forced him into surgery so that they could either (a) getting a steep discount on his next contract or (b) intentionally ruin his career.

even when Exum got his ACL he had to wait.......we're not million dollar employees but even we do due diligence in getting informed decisions before under going the knife dumba$$ noa$$

Always want second and third opinions from the top sports injury doctors. Also, in many cases, surgery has to wait for swelling to subside.

Dante Exum had surgery in LA this morning, have yet to hear the results of that.

Why there is no results?
