What's new

Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Its also something a lot of players say because it's kind of awkward to tell a fan-base "yeah im in this for a year then **** yall im out". Ben Simmons got ripped for being that way. This builds reputation as a team first player.

Sorry, I just don't find this talk interesting before the season even starts. It's non-news to me.

I am just saying. To me it is coming across as being kind of a baby. I was suppose to be #1 and now i am not so I will wait till next year but next year RJ Barrett is a stud

Keep an eye on Javin DeLaurier as a 2nd round prospect with some upside. He'll be coming off the bench for Duke. He's 6'9", 215 lbs with a 7' wingspan and high motor. He moves really well.

Doncic consistently bringing it. 28pts 4/6 3pts 9 reb 4 assists. If he keeps shooting it like this from 3 it will be very to pass him up for #1.

Nice find
I am so ready for the college season to start

The main thing I look at is how well and how intelligently a player moves. A player can develop skills, but that court awareness, energy, motor and efficient, intelligent movement can't really be taught. This DeLaurier player moves like a pro. So does Jared Vanderbilt for the most part.

Dzanan Musa can really shoot the ball. He should be available in the mid first round. Maybe the Jazz can pick him up and play him at the 3, assuming they get someone more physical at the 4. He's only 18.

I have been watching a lot of video on im and trying to get myself excited about him but he has pedestrian measurements and is super skinny. I wonder if he can even play defense at the next level.

He won't guard 4s. He has a decent motor and should be able to guard on the wing if he gains some strength. He's probably not going to be an elite defender, but I don't think he'll hurt us much. He may be 6'9" by now. Joe Ingles has pedestrian measurements, but he commits to defending.

There is truth to the Joe Ingles but I just dont know I think Jackson might be a better prospect

Justin Jackson is a better prospect. He's an ideal big wing, but I think Jackson will go lottery.

Jaren Jackson, whom I know you like, looks like he's been working on his body. This is a move he couldn't do in high school. If he keeps working on his athleticism, he could be like a slightly smaller version of Myles Turner and play the 4, imo.

The problem with Jaren Jackson is he doesnt always seem engaged in the game. It could be maturity it could be a poor work ethic.

I guess everyone has seen the unprecedented damage that Doncic deals in Europe at his age. I doubt Dirk could've done anything close to that...His draft status will be so interesting when you consider how rare it is for Euros to be drafted #1 - but his performance and production are something else!

Honestly, if we take the small sample that is the first few games of the season what he's doing doesn't really happen at any age. Guys just don't put up numbers like that in the top leagues over there. I remember when Ginobili was the big star overseas, he was getting something like 16-17 ppg. And that was great.

It really is incredible how Doncic has started the season.
