Utah Jazz vs Los Angeles Lakers 7pm MST 10/28/2017

like this perspective from David Locke:

It is not a coincidence that Mitchell had a strong game playing against kids his same age tonight instead of playing the grown adults he has been facing many nights in the NBA. This is still a process and he is going to have ups and downs. Tonight sure was exciting.

I just noticed that the Jazz had three players make at least three 3s in the game -- Rubio, Ingles, Hood, Mitchell.

Rubio 4/7 had his most efficient offensive game. He also averages more than 5 rpg.

Sure Rubio scored a lot but he made a lot of bad plays too. He dribble too damn much and the offense runs better with him on the bench.

Pretty sure Mitchell will end up being top 5 from that draft class with Jackson, Smith Jr., Fox, and Tatum. Not bad considering we were drafting #24.

Too early to tell. He's had one very good game, and three horrible ones. You can probably make that same case for some other rookies. But even top-10 (or 13th for that matter) is certainly a steal for Lyles and the 24th.

Woke up and checked my phone. Alert was from NBA about the dunk.

Lets just say I'm having a good morning....

Coffee and Donovan.

Guten Morgan mein jazzung.

whats that supposed to mean?

He's trying to insinuate that you're a clueless twit who only looks at numbers on the surface but has little understandings of the finer points of high level basketball. He's saying that he doubts you actually watch that much basketball to appreciate the nuances of what is truly a good effective player or what makes up winning basketball. Basically he's calling you a johnny come lately type basketball fan.

Hope that helps

This is about three or four Jazz game threads in a row now where the post game comments are all about Archie. And half of those comments are his. Really starting to suck the wind out of reflecting on the game.

LOL.

ok tell me what Lonzo Ball does that elevates his team to victory?

so far all signs point to Lonzo shouldn't be allowed to play more than 15mins a game.

Aren't you the same person who thinks exum is gona be an all star? LMAO

Under the rim, guy.

Sincerely,

Truth.

Great dunk though.

Kuzma (pretty tall dude iirc) head is lower than Mitchell’s ***.

Didn’t get very much elevation lol.

Trollin hard tonight

If he jumped 38" it puts his head 7" under the rim. Looks like he's closer than that. About a 42" jump I'd say. Ultimately Archie is right, but seems like a silly time to argue after his breakout game.

No Archie isn’t right. He said Mitchell didnt have great elevation on that dunk. ( or some stupid **** like that)

Joe Jesus has been in a funk, but you have to give him credit for his veteran intangibles

He was looking for that lakers snowbird pass all night and fanned the Donovan Mitchell fire

To be fair, Mitchell's arm's length are freakish. His dunk was great tonight but not high elevation.

This was the original post in question.
Not high elevation.

Nothing to do with his head being at or above the rim.

Dunk definitely had high elevation. Only an idiot would think otherwise.

Just put that dude on the ignore list and be done with it.

He's trolling yall like mad

I see one dude got a message on his NBA app about Dmitch, it's because you must have the jazz set as your team. NBA.com has nothing of it on the front page.

Another example of influence and power in the NBA, if that was Lonzo who had that put back dunk and following 3, it's be all over NBA.com yahoo.com everywhere on the net

Probably wouldn't be so bad if so many others felt it necessary to argue or just call him names. Every opinion need not be corrected.

I don't mind, really. There used to be jazzfanz chat I liked a lot more than posting in game threads. If you guys are all upset about my posts in the game threads, I can stop posting. Lol. Not sure why people take it so personally.
