Say Something about Joe Ingles

Most of you probably aren't old enough to remember this line from an old song -- I remember it from when I was a little kid watching old movies -- "He's got bells that jingle, jangle, jingle."

I like Joe a lot. Great to have him. Hope he sticks arounds for some time. He plays a key role on this team. But I don't think he is a starter on a contending team. And if he takes Harps role on TV people on this board will start hating on him in that role. It is just the way it is.

I'd like to see him play out his career in Utah and enjoy the success that Mitchell, Gobert and the guys we surround them with bring us! And maybe just once, punch Draymond in the mouth.

yamers you're a twit

meh he lacks the offensive moveset to a very versatile offensive threat to the other teams. He isn't going to come curing off a screen and knock down the 3, he isnt going to post u up, he isnt going to pull up on you. He's a very basic player. Nothing impressive.

He's the probably the best passer on the team, consistent and tenacious defender, provides leadership on the court, deadly from behind the arc, unselfish and team orientated. Who wants blokes like that on their ball club?

deadly from behind the arc? sure, if he's being split out and not asked to handle the ball that's right where he needs to be.

as I said, he lacks the offensive skillset to be a effective starter in this league. He turns it over far too much and he's like 29/30 in per in his position.

My crosspost from elsewhere

He looked great last season because he was defending tough players and camping for threes with that conserved energy. This season, he's running around like an out of control gazelle setting up passes for a BAD SNYDER OFFENSE. By the second quarter, the dude looks completely blasted. He's shooting threes off the side of the backboard because Quin has him on JET the entire first quarter trying to be Curry, driving and kicking the ball out so it can be passed around the three point line until he, yet again when he received the ball in the corner, is FORCED to drive it baseline. This season is kicking his ***. And the dude isn't even turning the ball over! Did you catch him after the Denver game? Dude's hair made him look like he was electrocuted

if he's not hitting his 3point shot he's nearly dead weight. His passing is alright, but he's soft everywhere else. I know utah jazz fans have a love affair with certain players but the sooner you realize ingles isn't very good the sooner you'll come to terms with the tank.

Ingles wasn't too much the problem in this game, he was responsible for, or had a big hand in maybe 30 to 35 of the Jazz points, which is a third of what Jazz scored in total. A few careless turnovers yes, but really, some other players need to be looked at in my opinion, before Joe.

So blokes only start in this league because of the 'offensive skill set'?
