Well, a lot gets past me. I looked at Stokes' OP and actually wondered if Oprah was really such an inspiring person she could sweep The Globes with her charm and wit and/or moral principles.
I don't think I've seen Oprah on her show more than about ten times in my life, probably less than an hour of my time. I got it that she is a cultural icon, a sort of symbol, a fav with a lot of people, and very rich.
I see this not as some folks with Satanic purposes and a hot line to Hell trying to destroy all mankind.... which is what I sorta take is your definition of a "conspiracy", but as ordinary if an eclectic batch of influence peddlers with more money than sense working on one of several possible strategies for a Dem comeback after the shock of the Trump loss. Sure, by my definition of "conspiracy", every housewife with a plan to eat out tonight instead of cook supper is a conspiracist.
I don't know what the word means to you, but to me it is ordinary reality. People want stuff, hope or believe stuff, and try to get others to help with the cause. They consider it prudent, sometimes, to sorta work on the project outta the limelight.
Bill Gates, Whoever Rockefeller, George Soros...... lots of people with extraordinary means and determined ideas of what is right or good......yah.... planners might be a better word.
I don't count on the Devil to explain anything.
