Trade Rumor From NBADraft.Net Involving Andre Iguodala And The #3 Pick

LOL!!!

I think the #3 is 50/50 right now between Kanter and Knight (well, Williams if he falls). Honz really needs to tell us who the Jazz will be drafting at #12. Hayward was not even in the discussion for most of us before Honz kept pimping him. Maybe Hionz has a sleeper in mind this year.

I'm not Honz but I have this weird hunch we're gonna get one of the Morris twins with the 12th pick, most likely Marcus

Who do you feel we would most likely get rid of?

This is Kevin O'connor so I have no idea, but I'll share my thoughts.

If the Jazz FO aren't in love with their players (like used to happen to Larry) then I think you gotta look at moving Millsap. It'd be hard because how can you not love Millsap. He's a stud and I'd hate to see him on another team. But he's produced and has a great rep so he has value around the league. He could bring in a decent haul. And what with all the talk of Millsap either moving to the 3 or being a 6th man off the bench I think he's sort of the odd man out now that the Jazz have a logjam at PF.

But it's not like Jefferson isn't without his warts. His BBIQ is a little slow. I mean, going slow appears to be his strength - as long as he can take his time to pump fake 5 or 6 times he does really well getting his shot to go in, but it kind of makes him a black hole. Nevertheless, he's a talented black hole. And down the stretch it's nice to just dump him the ball and let him create something. He's taller than Millsap which ups his value. He's always been productive in the league but he's also always been on losing teams so I don't know what his perceived value is among other GMs.

Kanter is a possibility too. I don't know what he'd bring in.

Okur's an expiring contract. Other than that I don't know that he has any value in the league unless he can show he can still play, but he is older and coming back from injury.

I Kind of like this trade idea to be honest with you. Yes Iggy was injured but before any trade is complete, he would have to pass a phyiscal. Hawes would be a great addition and Meeks can flat out shoot. Plus with our 12th pick we could pick Jimmer! And the talks of AI being a little undersized is true but his winspan is 6'11" And the worst case is we have to keep AI another 3 years and then use his fat exprng contract for some youth.

and I read an article about the Hawks being frustrated with Josh Smith...Maybe try moving the 3rd pick (Kanter) for Smith. Lets Horford move to the 4 which would be a win for the Hawks and open up some money for them to resign Jamal Crawford

Maybe Josh Smith, Kirk H. for Memo/Millsap/Kanter Utah gets a great back up pg, that can play alittle sg if needed and a solid shot blocking 3, that can pass the ball quite good. Hawks might do this to pick up the cheaper contract in Millsap, add the future Center Kanter, and then try and trade Memo for the cap relief?

If we trade this pick I'll officially hand in my fan-card.

We've all been drinking the youth cool-aid, excited about a new draft pick, seeing this team grow together. That's exactly what they've been shoveling us since the D-Will trade, and when Hayword got hot at the end of the season it was enough for us to buy in. The whole point and fun of following the Jazz for the last 6 months has been the prospect of the future and our kids reaching their potential. To throw that away with some ridiculous trade (one in which we get robbed) would just be the ultimate kick in the nuts.

KOC is too smart to make this trade. Why would he wreck what he's done an oh so masterful job of selling?

Did anyone happen to catch Iguodola in the playoffs this year? Not the kind of performance you'd want from a guy making 11+ million.

I like Iggy; but his career is going in the wrong direction.

yeah, a no from me as well..it's no secret Philly has been trying to deal Iggy for years now. They know he's past his prime and is on the down slope of his career and will be overpaid the next 3 years. I'd hope we could get a better return for the 3rd pick.

Holy hell NO! The value is not bad. But this team just got rid of their max contract for a one dimensional wing. Why on earth would they want another one. This is only reasonable if we return 2 1st round picks. Meaning an unprotected pick next year and their 16th pick. Even then I would not want the Jazz to take the deal.

Iggy is not what this team needs. We don't need broken, overpaid, and one dimensional players.

Its funny how everyone is worked up about some dude on a message board at a **** forum posting his local radio guys rumor. I mean come on, that trade has multiple rfa. This is so damn far fetched. To me this is some kid making crap up off of something he did on nba2k11 and now he is trying to peddle it around. Well guess it worked here 8 pages of anger over some nonsense.....

The Jazz should look at Wilson Chandler, Gerald Wallace, and Luol Deng if they want an established 3. Everyone else is either untouchable elite or too old. Chandler is young enough to fit a rebuild, as is Deng (who the Jazz aren't going to pry from Chicago), but most aren't going to consider him worthy of the #3 pick.

I'd consider the pick and Memo for Felton and Chandler if both would extend/sign-and-trade. Jazz get strong on perimeter defense quick. Chandler is a versatile player and can guard 1 through 4. Felton gives you 17 and 9, not too shabby for a guy who slows on the other end.

Favors/AJ/Chandler/Hayward/Felton. That team can play if Hayward and Favors improve. Bench would be legit too.

I'd also go #3 for Steph Curry, but GS would have to be huge on Kanter and sure they could get him. Kyrie isn't Steph and DW2 is too small.

If Utah could get Chandler/Felton for the 3rd and Memo that would be so amazing!! Even Gallenari/Felton if Chandler wants like 12 million a year! Or Chandler/Lawson and give the 10 Milllion to Chandler he wants

You mean the same Chandler that averaged 4.8 ppg in the playoffs and shot 28%. You want to give him 12 million?WHY?
