I get the player value but there is no reason they should have had to include the 1st. I still don't see the logic in that part of the deal.

Watch those dickheads use the pick (and some other stuff) they acquired to get off the Luol Deng contract.
 
I actually really like Clarkson, but thought he was a bit overpaid. And I think IT and Frye for Clarkson makes sense for both. However, I still can't comprehend how the Lakers got the 1st rounder out of Cleveland too.

The Cavs could have used their pick to get a Favors, Bradley, etc. This trade is really, really fishy.

It's PG and Lebron... its a better team than either of them have now with upside as the young guys come up.

Cavs just sealed they damn fate for Jordan effing Clarkson. You know LBJ told them to get these guys and I will think about coming back... this thing seems either fishy or completely incompetent.
 
I'm waiting to read that Boston has traded Abdel Nader and Theis for Rodney Hood and Aaron Gordon.

I am afraid I have become an NBA misanthrope.

I would understand expirings for those guys... but adding the pick is malpractice.
