Not really. He was a bit better on the switching aspect, but when it got late in the game and it was more straight post isolation Gobert is the better defender on LMA.

He played 12 ****ing minutes dude. Someone has to play. He didnt even play poorly. The guy is one of the best perimeter defenders on the team. Get off the man's nuts.

The Jazz messed up some early switches and LMA got open looks and got hot. It happens with great scorers. You let them score the first few easy ones and they can murder you the whole night. Gobert has shutdown LMA in games before. **** happens.

And just in general, it's kind of BS how much teams are allowed to hold Gobert on the offensive glass. Like every damn play there is a guard boxing out Rudy with his arm wrapped around his back so he cant jump.

I can take this loss. It absolutely was brutal but the Spurs had a player's only meeting. And Aldridge wasn't going to let them lose. Gay either evidently. They were in zones. Sometimes that **** happens.

No. The post guy wasnt beating us all night. LMA was destroying us with pick n pop and then by driving off closeouts. He was playing well from the post too, but I'll take my odds with him trying to shoot over Gobert in an isolation.
