What do you want the Jazz lineup to look like next year?

That would be my ideal.

Exactly how I feel. Throw in AK to back up at the SF and Fes as an insurance big man with another guard (Watson) and they are golden. Millsap is great off the bench and our shooting improves dramatically with Jimmer and Williams. And our size is good at all positions especially at 2 (6'8 Hayward), 3 (6'8 240 Williams), and 4 (6'10 280 AJ).

I love how the second team would play out too. Jimmer, CJ and Okur jacking up 3s and spreading the floor, Evans and Millsap getting Off Reb's and Millsap having plenty of room to work with against a backup PF/C.

- He isn't a super athletic PG (ala Westbrook or Rose) who can slash / finish at the rim
- He isn't a great passer (ala Williams, Nash)
- He isn't super fast (ala Paul, Harris)
- Billups basically makes his living build around his 3pt shot - making his opponents respect the 3pt and make plays for others.
- He's a solid heady player who can run the team

Jimmer's ceiling is at least Billups IMHO.

Sounds like the prototypical ex college player who dominates YMCA pick up games to me.

Personally, I don't see why we should trade Millsap when he's the most valuable player to the Jazz given the amount of money he makes (7 million). The more depth and talent on the front court the better!

Two things I noticed. You, like myself, are one of the very few posters here who seem to realize Favors could and probably should be playing the 5 better than anyone else we have. Am I wrong here? Secondly, you like Williams more than Kanter?

No way, we need 3pt shooter and Rip can't do that.

Hayward is a lock at SG for the Jazz at least for the next decade and I'm down with that.

OK, but Fredette has shown to be pretty strong as well (ref: his bench press stats at Combine was 14). Also I can't for the life of me remember the last time Billups dunked the ball.

If those are the only differences between them I can live with that - as I said Jimmer's ceiling is at least Billups.

I'd rather have someone who's a Billups type player running the Jazz than say a erratic Westbrook type player (*cough* Knight *cough*)
