Jazz Pre-Draft Workouts

I hope they bring in Marshon Brooks. I finally watched his interview and he didn't seem cocky to me. He seemed alright, so if he has Kobe-esque talent with a decent personality (and that long wingspan) I think he'd be pretty nice.

Mack's another I've watched for a loooong time ... like him a lot. Why (seriously) are we looking at him?

JaJuan, Mack and Norris Cole are projected around picks 30 to 38. Jazz don't have a second round pick. KOC or Ty Corbin said that Jazz like to work out bigs with gaurds. They have some sort of drills they like that requires both.

I guess the whole thing could've been set up just for Jazz to run the Morris twin through the drills and the other guys were the only ones they could get to come in.....

or something is up.

My guess is that there is a possible trade down where the jazz aquire a late 1st or early 2nd round pick.

There are lots of options.

Listen to the KOC interview over on 1320 Kfan. The reporters ask him why and he gives a typical reveal nothing response. The best line of the interview:

Q: Did Gordon give you a scouting report or insight into SHelvin Mack, is that why you brought him in?

KOC: Gordons not smart enough to do a scouting report.

Ryan Feldman just tweeted this stuff. Start from the bottom and go up.

Seems like Shelvin Mack is really doing well in draft workouts and he helped himself in Chicago. Mack has a good chance to get in 1st round.

Source at Jazz workout said Norris Cole appeared out of his league and JaJuan Johnson started well but wasn't overly impressive.

Source at the Jazz workout said Markieff Morris appeared to be the most talented but didn't seem to give it his all and didn't do so well.

Source at Jazz workout said Jeremy Tyler looked good and was very mature and serious.

The source said Shelvin Mack's positive attitude was incredible. He cheered on the other players the whole time.

Source at Jazz workout said Shelvin Mack was very impressive, shot well, great in drills.

Just talked to some1 who was @ the Jazz workout 2day w/ Shelvin Mack, JaJuan Johnson, Markieff Morris, Jeremy Tyler, Norris Cole, Lauderdale

I want to like Mack but he showed no improvement from freshmen to junior year. 3.4 assists to 2.4 turnovers screams shooting guard in point guard body. His athleticism is quite good, as is his D I'm sure.
Tyler has Favors like measurements and athleticism, but seems immature and not a hard worker. Since we need to consider need somewhat at #12, don't think he's in play.

You're getting Tyler being immature and lazy from where? The tweet said he seemed very mature and serious.

He played in Israel. Quit the team half way through the season. Reports say was rude, didn't play/practice hard, didn't take it serisouly, among other complaints. Look it up.

According to Ryen Russillo @ his NBA-podcast, the kid has suffered for years at the hands of his father who basically forced the kid to quit high school after only one year to go to Isreal. $200k was reported to be the deal from which the father supposedly took $175k.

You mean decent talent and Kobe-esque personality.

I watched it and he seemed like a prick.

The one I watched he sounded humble to me. He acknowledged that he probably will come off the bench for his team first rather than saying he would be the ROY like Snyder did.

So is Mustapha. ....Speaking of white kids, I wanna see a ginger named Mustapha.
