Is struggling is because he had to defend Rubio. You can see it is taking it out of him. He was totally gassed. That was a Sloan truism, make the best offensive player work on defense and it takes him out of his game.

Loving this TEAM!

It’s working on Paul George too, but he’s a solid defender. The Jazz run him all over and screen him over and over. He looked beat the eff up by the end of the game.

Yeah the best part was seeing the defeat in their eyes. We didn't beat them tonight, we broke them.
It was funny. We were watching the game with my neighbors and there came a point in the 4th quarter where it looked like the Jazz were playing sloppy and the Thunder might make a run. . . but the body language of the OKC players was terrible.

It was obvious that they were beaten and there was no comeback coming. I told everyone who was watching the game that it was over. The Thunder has quit. Sure enough, the Jazz went on a run and OKC started pulling their stars. It was a beautiful moment.

Yeah they really went out with a whimper. I actually felt bad for Westbrook, but man was that look on push-off-P's and Melo's faces a beautiful sight to behold.

Paul George is GONE. He’s already checking out and thinking about free agency. Jazz finish out this series, it’ll be the second year in a row that they’ve overcome a 4/5 series and significantly contributed to a star player leaving in the the offseason.

Hell no! Jazz are going to be franchise killers. We are going to knock them out like we did to the Clippers. And like the Clippers there franchise will fall apart. How will be different and George and Melo are free agents and will bolt but Jazz will have broke two franchises in two years.

Choo choo!!!

They had resorted to a lot of pushing and the refs weren't calling it and so it was working, but apparently they had nothing left to continue the comeback, even though Donovan said in the huddle to keep chipping away. I think it was when they were down 7 that Jingling hit a 3 that seemed to stop their run.

Westbrook seemed pissed after the game (more pissed than deflated, that is). I think they have one more surge left in them early in Game 4.

If we can weather that and get another convincing win, then I think we close it out in 5.

I hope your right about 5 but I think it will take 6. Jazz win game 4 but can’t get it done in OKC and come home and put on a show to finish it off for the hometown fans. #takenote

I think after last game he will be taking out his aggressions on Rubio, so if Ricky can penetrate, he should do a lot of driving and kicking out to people on the wings, Joe and Donovan -- more likely Joe as I think PG will try to double down. Who knows, maybe the Thunder will continue to give Ricky open shots, thinking he won't continue to hit them. I just think Westbrook will be overly aggressive and Ricky can exploit that.

This tells me OKC is done.

We’ve just got to take what is given,” Westbrook said. “I was getting myself in trouble, jumping in the air, trying to get the ball to Melo and other guys on the floor. I’ve just got to stay in attack mode, read my first option and go

There is blame in that statement. There is hero mode engaged in that statement.

I hope the Jazz understand that statement, if they do they will flat out embarrass OKC in game 4. If they don't they will need to win again at home and again at OKC.

I read this and realized how stupid it sounds. But really I only had the order reversed. If OKC takes game 4 (please no), then the Jazz need to win one in OKC, then one in SLC.

Jazz please just win game 4. Please!

He's a hero alright, a hero who chased Harden and KD out of OKC. Presti was dumb not to get rid of him instead of Harden because it would've been a dynasty like none seen in the NBA since the 1960s Celtics.

I think you have a damn good point!

Word. I used to like Westbrook a lot. Nowadays, he seems really standoffish and afraid of change. I mean, I get not wanting to care at all about what other people think, I also get not wanting anyone to 'tell you' anything (especially when you've made yourself into a HOF NBA player), but his current attitude seems tough to make work in a team sport where communication is paramount.

Also, Westbrook is way to inefficient offensively to coast on defense in the playoffs. He's also way too potentially good at defense to coast.

Anyway, straight from Westbrook's mouth regarding Rubio - "I'm gonna shut that **** down next game. Guarantee that."

Give him some Crowder picks to shut his mouth up permanently. In any case, we need to set aggressive picks against him to make him even more aggressive and disrupt their team chemistry even more. At least, that's what I would do if I were Quin ... but it will be interesting to see what happens, for sure.
