Two observations:
I think it’s obvious how much “help” the superstars get because they became so discombobulated when the call wasn’t made; it was like kicking an ant hill and chaos reigned. Whereas our guys aren’t used to that “help” so they played through all of those offensive rebounds at the end.
Second, it’s interesting to me how when commentators show game highlights and they focus on the back and forth Donovan and Westbrook engaged in but fail to reference the score. Yes, it was like Jordan v. Bird, so to speak, but after being even at halftime, the Jazz has taken control on the back of Donovan and had a 10+ point lead. It seems like it’s conveniently forgotten.
