Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I think they're different players. For one thing, Vanderbilt can't score right now. He sure rebounds though.
Yeah, Vanderbilt is much more of strict 4, maybe small ball 5 as he progresses.

Bonga seems like more of a wing.

And I probably wouldnt draft Vanderbilt until after 50 or so because of his foot history.

My guy is still Jerome Robinson. I just think he's the most dynamic player in our range. He and Mitchell together could be great.

KBD would be a nice fit for the Jazz.

I'm also a believer in Troy Brown.

I'm warming up to Okobo.

I want to know how complete a player Huerter is or if he's a shooting specialist.

I like Okogie and Bonga, but they're risky at #21 right now.

My current favorites of players who are likely to be in our range at 21 are: KDB, Okobo and DiVincenzo. Zhaire Smith and Lonnie Walker are among my favorites too but I think they'll probably be gone. There are several others I like but those would probably be my top few as of right now.

Troy Brown with a 6'10.25" wingspan and an 8'9" standing reach (assuming this isn't a typo) could grow just a tad and be big enough to play at the 4 by today's standards. He'd need to gain 12-15 lbs (currently 208 lbs), but he's likely to do that within a year or two, given his age.

I'm glad you get Robinson. The kid is a baller, bucket maker, and plays with fire.

Troy Brown has been 6'5 for a handful of years now, pretty sure his height has plateaued.

I gotta be honest. This draft kind of sucks. Im not loving anyone in our range.

There will probably be a guy that turns out to be decent, but it really feels like a bunch of busts and scrubs.

Might be better to just trade the pick for a future pick or something. Doesnt even look like its worth moving up. But, I wouldnt mind Miles Bridges. Denver is right there where we could move up a few spots. I wonder what it would cost.

PF. Maybe even some C against small ball lineups. He has a 7'3 1/4 wingspan.

Yeah, I'm wondering more now if KBD could play the 5 much in the same way Looney's been playing it a lot. And Looney had a 7'3" wingspan.

I should say that I believe the guy with the best value from where he is mocked is Collin Sexton.. He should go higher than 9 or 10.

If the Jazz could move up and grab him that would be a steal. I just dont see them doing that because we have Rubio and maybe he isnt a great fit next to Donovan. But from a value stand point it would be a great move, and thats how we should be thinking anyways. And we could use another point guard.

So officially I say we move up if possible and draft Collin Sexton. Sexton is going to be good in the NBA.

Whats the feeling on Collin Sexton and Miles Bridges around here? Anyone else like them enough they think they are worth moving up for?
