Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Hayward is a good in theory guy. He looks like he's going to be this or he could do that. At the end of the day, I've never seen it.

He doesn't take over games. He doesn't get red hot and hit multiple straight 3's. He isn't a balls to the wall, passionate, hustle guy like PJ Tucker. Hayward is a good comprehensive player who would "seem" to fit in many areas but I haven't seen it yet.

There is a reason why so many fell in love with the team this year. We played with heart. We were a team. You could try to blame Hill, but that's weak just like going to Boston. Hayward never had it. Maybe he becomes an Iguodala type for Boston, but I just don't see it. He is a solid role player on a contender or 3rd option at best.

How did you learn how to read and write being this stupid?

Hayward averaged 22 ppg last year. If he never gets hot or hits multiple 3's in a row, he must be the most consistent and steady 22 ppg scorer the NBA has ever seen (which would honestly be extremely impressive). He was also a 40% 3pt shooter that never hit multiple 3's in a row. Insane that he made a 3 then missed 3 then made another one every-time consistently.

Actual Facts: You are a ****ing idiot and Hayward had multiple 30+ point games last year, including a 40 point playoff game.

Hey Cy, I gave him credit for one great year.

Statistically, go compare Hayward's best year to Tyreke Evans this year. Tyreke is better for every single stat. Better percentages, same points, rebounds, etc and in 5 less minutes per game.

Somebody has to score. The worst team in the NBA still scores close to 100 per night. Hayward was given the keys to the Jazz car for 7 years and truly shined in one. Mitchell is a legend for how he plays and what he accomplished. There is a reason Hayward is an afterthought even if that hurts your feelings fanboy.

Tyreke

God you are stupid.

You literally said if we drafted a Gordon Hayward at 21 you'd want to trade the pick. How do you justify a statement that stupid?

Who cares? Cal wouldn't do jackshit with them so far as winning goes.

If 7footer James Wiseman, who will be a top 3 pick in 2020, joins in and Keion Brookks that team would be a major threat,, they could run most f the best college teams off the court on a good day as a bunch of freshman. DJ Jeffries, Wisemans long time teammate who's also a 5star recruit is already commited.

Huerter is my guy right now but is he withdraws I don't know what I want. The Jazz could turn Huerter into a better shooting Hayward. I am not sure he could get as big as Hayward but the position versatility is what I mean.

Jazz need a bench guy that can come in and handle the scoring with out giving up a lot on defense.
Huerter is more like Klay Thompson than Hayward... But he's definitely the perfect fit next to Mitchell with his shooting and decent size for a 2.

But a much better athlete

Does that really matter that much if he is too small to ever use that athleticism consistently? Like, yeah, he should be a much better defender, but he is still going to be too small to defend a lot of 2's in the NBA. He isnt a great rim attacker. He was never a player who got to the foul line much. He is a jump shooter, like Burke.

These small guys who live on jumpers can survive in college, but when they get against NBA length the easy buckets at the rim are cut off and all they have is the pull-up jumper to create offense. Those looks are harder because of length and now you just got a small guard who can only score off tough off the dribble shots.

Look guys, if you can't tell, I'm hating on Hayward. Actually, I'm hating on dbags like Cy around here still worshiping the ground Hayward used to walk on. The guy was a good player who showed signs of being great. Overall, he was great for one year then bolted like a coward for his college coach, an easier conference and more success playing behind a star bigger than he could become.

Hayward was good but I prefer my draft prospect comps to use another pro instead of the one guys around here simply cannot get over. It's like comparing some random girl's butt to my buddy's ex's butt who was a bitch, cheated on him and is definitely not coming back. Move on.

Why are we talking about Haywood again?
Lol I wish someone here would engage me in convo bout my years of spot on predictions on Hayward, especially Cy, he's too busy riding his high horse to face that music tho... I won that argument in landslide, nearly flawless, fashion, If u really look too I swore up and down the Jazz were gonna be a playoff team if hayward and hill walked, which is how it played out exactly..

No one here used the word replaceable in reference to Hayward nearly as much as me, way more ppl *cough* suckers *cough* were in the stockholm syndrome boat and thougt it was prudent to max and appease him.

Now that the dust is long settled Hayward performed well for this franchise on the court -- he didnt nearly perform as well as an asset though, he was more like a high priced whore than a true franchise talent who strengthened the cause. He'd have served this team much better being trade bait at the draft or deadline, he'd also have served this team better if he let the organisation know his true intentions instead of stringing them along. The FO deserves some blame for this too, they failed at sniffing out a deserter til it was too late.

Y'all treated Hayward like he was the young wolf and king of the north, Robb Stark.. We'd have been much better off appliing some Tywin Lannister style logic, the house (The franchise)/sigil is the top priority always, exceptions can be made - but not for Hayward, he was never powerful enough to qualify.

As i predicted many years back Jason Tatum's gonna be better than him for sure.

What'd I say about video game players being inherently greedy and conditioned to finding the path of least resistance? Saw the **** coming a mile(several years) away.
