This one should have been his every year since he started in the league. Absolute beast. No defender in the league changes the game like Rudy. No defender in the league singlehandedly makes you from bottom 5 defense into no. 1 by huge margin. Congrats to Rudy. Absolutely deserved.

Rudy also liked this tweet. It’s pretty easy to feel Rudy’s loyalty. I think Rudy will come back better offensively next year and stronger. Rudy has a work ethic and want to win like very few players. He also has a mindset that it’s just as much his job to get better as a centerpiece to the team as it is to concern himself with other pieces.

I’m very happy for Rudy, and he should win more. We should all love Rudy. He has a sincere attachment and loyalty to this franchise and is as fans. Flaws offensively? Sure, but we as fans and the Jazz franchise are in great hands with Rudy. His speech was touching, and I’m happy and proud he’s here.

Eaton and Gobert are the only Jazzmen to ever win it.
