What's new

NBA SUMMER LEAGUE 2018

I got a fever... and the only cure is more Niang!

So. Um. Is Niang ready for that stretch 4 spot? Cuz.. I'm starting to think he might be pushing Jerebko out of the picture.

He pushed him down and stole his bike... he ain’t giving it back either.

#niangfever

Not being funny now... Niang is such a good basketball player... great decision making, ball handling, passing, knows where to be, makes his threes and has some weird flip shots that go in... he won’t be much worse than Jonas on defense... if we get to our fourth string PF and it’s him I’m cool.

Cy was high on Derrick White last year, another hit for him it seems.

I definitely want to keep developing Bradley, like that dude. I’m not sure about Niang or Naz. They both look exactly like players you’d expect to see when benches are emptied.

Naz is fun and will have a cup of tea at some point... Niang is fantastic... he’s a great role player type prospect... he looked like he was thinking the game on a different level... would have had a few more assists tonight but he set guys up so well that the defense had to take a foul.

You basically just described Ingles. Which is a good thing. All about defense with him- and he's been really good there in the first two games.

I think he might have a base of offensive skill that exceeds where we started with Joe. He made several defensive plays... not highlights but just good rotations where he still nabbed the rebound.

I’m all in and ready for the Niang experiment... will talk to DL in Vegas Friday and seal the deal.

I’ll trust you guys on him. It would be a great story for him to make it on the team.

Niang almost looks like an NBA player. His skill set fits the modern league. He can make reads and pass pretty well.

Bradley has a bit of the Enes Kanter post scoring and rebounding. He's not as bouncy though.

Agree on both points. Still like Bradley. Think he’s a solid developmental big. I expect him to play with the Stars one more year, keep training and getting stronger, then be ready to get NBA minutes in his third year.

Interesting... Niang doesn't quite have the physique of the typical NBA player but he is skilled and smart.

He reminds me of that guy that lives on the pick up court. He's sorta big and out of shape but he's savvy and knows how to play & score.
