I believe it took the FBI like three days to investigate Anita Hills claims.

Yet all three people she named as being present say they don't remember any of this or anything remotely close to it, even Ford's close friend? That's not fishy to you @JazzGal ?

So why not have them come before the committee so they can be questioned? Republicans are trying to ram this through.

Seems the person who would be of great interest is the one who drove her home, certainly if it was as traumatic as shes making it out to be she'd be distraught and crying uncontrollably or in a state of shock.. Conveniently she can't remember who this person might be, nor has anyone stepped forward. Another fact that stinks to high heaven.

Um, so if that's the best way to do it why don't courts accept written statements? Why does anyone have to testify?

I'm sitting feet away from institutionalized clients, doctors, therapists, mental health paraprofessionals. I have required training yearly on these topics. Trauma Informed Care two weeks ago, 4 day session. They brought up the trauma informed care approach at the beginning this session we're discusssing!

Isn’t it possible she wasn’t that close to the person, and it was a long time ago, and people tend to put these traumatic experiences out of their mind over a long period of time. Happens all the time.

They look like they are in their 50’s or 60’s high this happened like 30+ years ago. I probably wouldn’t remember, at least not every detail after trying to forget for so long.

Repeating yourself, as opposed to actually thinking about what I said, does not improve your appearance.

Many trauma victims don't want to share the details. For one thing, they are worried that their significant others will make things worse, not better. Again, you are making the conversation about you, not her, at a time she needs you to think about her more than usual.
