Utah Jazz Pre-Season Games Official Thread

The fact that you've mistaken these statements from me as "self-righteousness" says a lot about you.

I also enjoyed the self-righteous tone of the message quoted above.

It says more about the way you present yourself. But feel free to act like I’m alone in that feeling.

My last two fracts were complete and utter trash. So **** off, and go dilly with OL and Spazz.

You earned your ban for being a constant *** to pretty much everyone. And knowing you it’ll happen again and it’ll be earned that time to

Mmmhmmm. You haven’t even had the stones to review the last two fracts. There isn’t anything in the rules that says you’ll be banned for giving a “general impression” or anything of the sort, so you’ve just revealed a lot. I appreciate it. There was clearly a lopsided and unequal enforcement of the rules.

I’ve done the opposite. I’m stating that there are at least a few other moderators who’ve miscarried themselves exactly like you have.

I can’t wait for the next statement about the “rules” at the expense of a statement about the unequal enforcement of them.

I believe royce oneal played a lot of guard last year too so add him to the list.

Very true although I think Royce will play almost all his minutes this year at SF. Ingles played 31.5 mpg last year and Crowder played almost 28mpg. With Ingles turning 30, I think Quin will be smart to play Ingles a whole lot less this season. Crowder is 28 and can help to play more PF so Favors can stay healthy.

Rotation at SF I could see:
Ingles 25mpg
Crowder 10mpg (he'll get 15mpg at PF)
O'Neale 13mpg (he'll get a few minutes at SG)

Depending on the matchup or back to backs, I think Ingles (along with Favors and maybe others too) will be given a handful of games off this season to simply rest. O'Neale would probably play 25-30mpg in those games when Ingles or Favors sit.

Poor picked on Naos. It’s a conspiracy. That has to be it.

You earned it and you won’t change my mind.

Bye
Correction: I’ve earned it via a unique interpretation of some rules (thus the “general impression”) and the lopsided enforcement of other “rules”.

Your Kavanaugh-esque bluster about all this has been entertaining, though.

I think this may be the best option. Keep everyone fresh. Has the NBA changed how many people are allowed to dress, or is it still just 12? In any case, you could give games off to Favors, Ingles, Thabo, and to a lesser extent Crowder. Other guys will collect some DNPs, I'm sure.

We really could schedule DNP's for Rubio, Ingles, Crowder, Favors, Thabo and Gobert throughout the season to keep them fresh. Every time we have a back to back, we give somebody off the first night and somebody else off the 2nd night. We have that kind of depth this year.

Barring injury and coach's decision, I really don't see a reason for any other player to get a DNP.

Ouch, too many injuries already.

I suspect that if it were actual go time, these players would not be out. Not to mention that some players might be taking a "rest" so Quinn can try different matchups without worrying bout giving everyone minutes, like they do in summer league.

I’m on team @NAOS. He’s easily an above average poster around here.

Plenty of blatant trolls keep doing their thing without punishment, but I guess it’s however the people in charge decide to moderate.
