Marshon Brooks destroyed Alec Burks in Bobcats Workout

I was never really high on Burks, seemed pretty average, he would be forgotten in a better draft.

Trash news. All Brooks can do is play 1-on-1 and this is well-known. What isn't known, is if he can play team ball and win.

I've said this elsewhere, but Allen Iverson Was great at 1-on-1 as well. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO THE GAME.

So you would pass on AI in this draft?

Ultimately. I might draft him so I could trade him to a team run by dopes.

And Brooks isn't as good as AI either, in case you erroneously made that connection.

That he thinks that LIKE Iverson, Brooks is a player who is overvalued through 1v1 workouts.

Furthermore, that as good as AI was in that single skill, it hardly translated to jack-**** when it came to winning.

Are you implying that the guy who single-handedly carried his team to the Finals was overvalued through 1v1 workouts? What were the expectations then?

Don't forget, one time league MVP. I neg repped him and called him a moron. It felt good, kinda like Christmas.

Single-handedly by choice in one of the weakest conferences of all-time. How did the series with The Lakers play out again? How did Philly do after he left? Did Denver get better when he was there or get worse when he left? What about the Pistons? I seriously forget, guys. Help me out here.

Did you ever watch Iverson in his prime? I mean, I know he was a chucker, but dude was special in his prime and he was far past that when he was with Denver. Also Philly had Iverson and who? Lakers had? Yeah, that's right, guy. Trying to rip on someone by using a Iverson analogy isn't really ripping on them. Especially at the 12th pick guy. Please, it's not that hard to understand.

I'm not going to argue over AI and his career achievements because that is not the point. The subject is AI was overvalued the same way Brooks is. I strongly disagree with the fact that AI was overvalued because that would mean he had to win multiple championships in order to meet expectations. Can you prove such expectations existed when he was drafted? If not then your comparison is false.
