Favors and lottery protected first is the maximum you give up in a Porter deal.
Detroit got him for a similar deal last year. And I would argue Exum represents a better asset than expiring injured Avery Bradley. The Detroit 1st probably projects to be 5-8 spaces higher, but that's about it.
Remember, Tobias Harris wasn't as big of an asset as he seems now.

I wouldn't give up Exum tbh. If you trade for Porter, you are stuck with your team, so giving away talent isnt ideal. Washington, at most, should be looking to get off his contract and get a protected pick back.
What if this allows Porter to explode and what if it’s addition by subtraction?Wall being out should lead to other dominoes....

Put me in the "Wall being out will make the Wizards better" camp. The initial returns won't be great though with all their injuries but I wouldn't be shocked if we got to the end of the season and the Wizards end up with a better record from today until the end of the season compared to their record currently.
They shouldn't be blowing anything up anytime soon unless they get a home run offer for Beal or Porter. But it's the Wizards so Ernie Grunfeld will probably trade Porter for a bag of potato chips

I mean, I've said multiple times I think Exum brings a lot of important things to the team.Whhut??
You wouldnt give up an expiring + "change of pace" combo guard for Otto Porter?
I'm intrigued too, issue I see is that Dallas is going to want a lot of veteran talent back for him and I'm not sure the Jazz have a package that makes sense for him.I'm intrigued by rumors surrounding Dennis Smith Jr. He should be able to hit 3s, get by his defender and get to the rim even if he's not a great ball mover.
Im in a group chat with a couple of Dallas fans and they think he is one of the worst players in the NBA.I'm intrigued by rumors surrounding Dennis Smith Jr. He should be able to hit 3s, get by his defender and get to the rim even if he's not a great ball mover.
Thanks for the intel.Im in a group chat with a couple of Dallas fans and they think he is one of the worst players in the NBA.
I'm not sure I agree with it, but regardless he is a ways away. I don't see the Jazz doing trades to get younger/less experienced. Thanks for the intel.
How about no. Mitchell isn't a pgBradley Beal would be the ideal addition. A lineup of Spida/Beal/Ingles/Crowder/Gobert would be really good.
