Dia's been doing great, but if Javier doesn't win it I will be totally shocked. He is the Real Deal, with a capital R and a capital D.

She had her song top 5 on iTunes. She got through to the final 4.

Thanks for posting. I'm super happy for Dia!! She deserves this. I'm really enjoying this ride. It's great seeing America discover what I've known about Dia for 6 years. I think she has a real chance at winning. I definitely think it's between her and Javier. I think it will be a close battle. I can't wait for the finals next week.
 
Javier has a better voice, yes, but the problem I see with him is he sings the same type of song over and of again. he has no variety to his sound and he over sings. Dia mixes her style up and I think that might push her over the edge. I was shocked that she's been beating Javier on iTunes, on both her songs. Heartless still in the top 100 and Losing My Religion still top 6. Fans love both Dia and Javier, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
 
Dia didn't impress me early on, but she's gotten significantly better (read: more confident) with each successive round.

I have to agree on Javier, though. That guy is super talented. He has to be the favorite at this point.

I also like Beverly. She's not much to look at, and her facial expressions are almost cartoonish, but I really like listening to her sing.
 
I agree that Dia appears to have gained a ton of confidence and it's really helping her. I honestly can't stand Beverly. She's got a good voice, but every time I watch her I get the heebie jeebies.
 
I just started watching this last week since I'm home with a shoulder injury. Javier and Dia are my favs. Javier should win, but I really like Dia. Plus she's from Utah and I've known who she is for years (thanks to Katie). I heart Blake Shelton!
 
Javier might be the better voice but if it's up to the fans I think Dia might win this thing. I really think she has the fans behind her, she has more iTunes downloads and more views on youtube. That doesn't tell the whole story but I think it's a big indicator. The next show will showcase original music from each artist.

Edit: I guess I was talking out my *** on the youtube views. eek. Javiar>Dia

The finals are tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm excited to see what Dia does. The contestants are going to be performing original songs and doing a duet with their coach. I'm ready to vote like crazy for Dia. It's going to be very exciting.

I don't think Dia is performing with Blake but with his wife Miranda Lambert. I'm wondering what kind of song Dia will come up with tomorrow. if you've heard any of her original music it isn't mainstream stuff. It's always a little odd, the lyrics and the word placements.

As far as I'm aware Dia is performing with Black tomorrow night, and then she is performing with Miranda on Wednesday.

I think she's pretty talented. Maybe not enough to beat Javier - that guy's a juggernaut - but she's much better than that itsy bitsy brunette that banged on the drums (I forget here name, and am not nearly motivated enough to google it.)
