Woj bomb... AD to Lakers

Lonzo Ball is close to being the next Michael Carter-Williams. He can't shoot from range, has no in-between game, and can't make free-throws either.

Well two more western conference foes that got better. I think New Orleans did a great job getting the talent they did considering it was public knowledge that AD wanted out of New Orleans.

In a few years AD may be in the same position he was in New Orleans when Lebron is old and retires. IF the Lakers get Kemba I might stop watching the NBA.

Why would Boston include Tatum knowing that AD would n't sign a long term deal.

I take this as good news for the Jazz. Lebron is 35 and starting to break down. Davis hasn't led New Orleans to anything in several years. He's obviously talented, he also seems to be hurt every time I wanted to watch him.
Lakers giving up 3 1st round picks is going to hurt depth and cheap young player contracts for years. They will get to sign vets ring chasing for cheap, however going to the Lakers isn't these ring chasers only options.
I look at Kawhi and think his signing with the Clipppers has to be questioned even more now, the Clippers are not the big show in LA and now with Lebron and Davis that'll be a harder sales pitch.
Lakers will probably sign Kemba now, and a bunch of cheap vets. That's not going to be much of a scary team at all. Hopefully they don't luck out and get actual shooters.

It’s not a hard sales pitch at all. Kawhi just brought a ring to Toronto. They could be legit.

Pels are going to flip the 4 pick for Atlanta’s 8 and 10 is my guess.

Lakers will sign another max guy but not buying title talk. They have zero depth.

I think Ingram can be a solid starter. Is that a minority opinion?

I just don't think it is in his blood.

Sorry, poor attempt at a joke. Blood clotting issues ended Bosh's career. I like Ingram's potential, but the blood issue would be a huge concern in my mind if I were a GM.

If you’re not trying to make a super-team, you will end up losing to one. This idea that the superteam has died is so stupid. They’ve virtually always existed.

But yes, let’s continue to discuss the merits of re-signing guys that basically make us worse for eight-figures.

I can't say I understand how young millionaire hoopsters think, but Lebron has shown he can be a terrible teammate. I wonder just how many players want to sign at a discount to play with him.

Room for another superstar. Trade for a position they need more. Those are 2 reasons.
“Room” meaning what? He’s an ideal PF for them and costs them virtually nothing. They have plenty of playmaking if they added nothing but scrubs right now.

I will reiterate that they made him untouchable in a trade for a superstar. You don’t get much better value than what they’re getting on Kuz. And they know that.
