Huh????
They’re gonna toss like 4/80 at Randle or 4/70 at Portis and 4/100 at Bojan.
Huh????
Okay, is Julius Randle any worse defensively than Bojan would be at the 4? Because the former’s TS% was 60% last year, he’s 5.5 years younger than Bojan, he rebounds waaaaaay better (really ****ing solid rebound %), passes way better (seriously, his assist % blows Bojan’s away), gets to the line more (a really strong 6.7 attempts per last year), and seemingly will cost ~5M less, if not like 7-8M less.
Yeah, he shot just 34.4% from 3 last year on just 2.4 attempts and so he won’t stretch the floor (and defenses) like Bojan would, but at just 24 years old, the kid seems to be getting better each year and is improving and brings a ton to the table in many facets of the game including a very legit ability to score which is something we sorely need.
And quite frankly, the kid is fun to watch and easy to root for based on his motor.
I’d definitely meet with him and his reps because if he can be had for about 4/50M, I think we have to strongly consider it. We could then maybe still get Green and a backup 1/wing to fill out the roster.
If NY fails to get KD or Kawhi, they will focus on player development and signing Giannis in 2021. They will sign guys like Rozier to 2 year deals. They might sign Randle too. They’re gonna toss like 4/80 at Randle or 4/70 at Portis and 4/100 at Bojan.
I think it's a good signing for NY if they miss on KD and Kawhi. Randle fits next to pretty much anybody.Jesus I ****ing knew it.

We had zero interest in him...
Alternatively: Randle fits next to nobody.Randle fits next to pretty much anybody.

They will get Rozier at a bargain. If NY gets Randle and Rozier for less than $40, they have a very bright future. The Knicks need a pg in the worst way. They should offer Satoransky 4/50-55.
Wut?
Bojan’s TS% is about 61% over the last three years. His 3 pt. % is high as **** too. He’s gonna hit around 85% from the line. He rebounds decently. He can pass the ball. Dribble. Legitimately score—which we desperately need by the way.
I mean, lineup with Crowder were better than with Faves. That should tell you a lot.
Conley, Exum, Donovan and one more decent guy = fine at PG.

Forget Exum.

He’ll give us everything we wish Exum could. Scrappy D, ballhandling, offense off the bench...
I would love Sabonis, but I don't think Indy lets him go.Heard Sabonis is on the market. They want a wing. Exum for Sabonis anyone?
His rb% was 20.8% last season. ***% was 18.2%. Is developing. Has a tiny bit of a 3 point shot.
Who the hell thought Deron would last longer because of his frame? He was a fat ****.
