At least six Philadelphia police officers were shot during an active firefight in Philadelphia’s Nicetown-Tioga section and rushed to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, the president of the Fraternal Order of Police said. Another officer suffered a non-shooting injury during the incident.

The officers were taken to Temple University Hospital, where dozens of officers have surrounded the hospital.

Police tell CBS3 that the injuries the officers sustained are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Police say a male shooter is still inside the property at scene. CBS3 reports that police have entered the building where the suspect or suspects are still inside.

I have never advocated for violence against cops. I don't take any joy in cops being hurt in any way. I am, on the other hand, strongly in favor of much more accountability when cops use unjustified force or any other type of misconduct. And by accountability I mean suspensions, discipline, job termination and criminal charges.

Singling me out as some sort of cop hater who would revel in police officers being shot is a personal attack that is completely unwarranted.

Lets make sure to remember that this is violence perpetrated by the radical left and instigated by the main stream left.

I dont want this to go unoticed since we only focus on violence when it comes from the right and we blame Trump. Well here you go. Violence instigated by left. Own it.
