He’s worth every nickel of $9m as is as a quintessential 3 and D wing. All the 3 and all the D of it too.

Nice. This is a very fair deal for both sides. I was getting worried we were going to end up having to give him around $12-14 million a year. $9 million a year seems about perfect for what Royce provides. Now I really hope we can find a way to keep Clarkson .
