Not an Obama fan, I don't think he's a bad guy, just full of **** and a mediocre president.
is there a politician you can point us to as an example of someone you think has done good things for the U.S.?

That is a fair point, but just takes us back to my original point of wanting to vote in some new blood, someone who appears to have intelligence and morals. i.e. Yang, Gabbard, even Bernie, not someone who has shown over and over and over again to be an opportunist with a wayward at best, moral compass. Her single selling point is being a minority woman, and that's not good enough for me.
I can get behind Biden in a way, because I do think he is a decent human which gives him a few points but I do think he will be a miserable president, just hopefully less miserable than our current one.

It’s weird to me that some people on here are advocating for an “outsider” or someone with “new blood” to be elected. What the hell was the 2016 election? Haven’t the last 4 years proven that maybe our president should know something about the government whom he/she seeks to lead?
With 177,000 dead now and 200,000+ dead in a few weeks, I hope our next president actually knows how government works. I want a calm, steady, and competent hand, not a gamble. We tried the gamble in 2016. It clearly hasn’t worked out.
if people like Yang are serious about politics, what’s wrong with starting off at local politics? Had we done that with Trump, we would’ve found out much earlier how incompetent he was. If Gbbard is so great, why not run for senator? Without the use of google, can any pro Tulsi types tell me 3 pieces of legislation she’s sponsored that has passed the House?

I'll spell it out for you. An outsider that has shown intelligence, good decision making, morals ... etc ..... There are a few of them out there. Trump was an outsider but he was none of those positive things.
