I'd rather have Kabongo. If he enters the draft, he should be available at 12.

If we add Gilchrist with the GS pick. We would have the new OKC in a couple of years.

PG: Devin Harris/Kabongo
SG: Alec Burks/Hayward
SF: Gilchrist/CJ Miles
PF: Favors/Millsap
C: Jefferson/Kanter

We would struggle with perimeter shooting but we would have plenty of cap space to sign shooters

This is an atrocious PG crop. I'd pick 3 guys that were in the late 1st/2nd round over any of these guys at this stage.

Burks has more potential than Hayward IMO. While Hayward showed he can penetrate, it is much easier to learn how to shoot than to become a slasher.

.... and as I've said many times before, next years group is inferior to this year.
Makes me re-think the importance of grabbing Collison.

Although I still think trading Harris and/or GS pick for Jrue Holiday could be possible.

Way to early to take sides on these players that may or may not declare for the draft. Especially true when they've barely gotten their feet wet on the college level.

No chance. The Sixers LOVE Holiday.
They should. He'd be a great fit anywhere (even if he's not exactly a star [which is why I'm hoping they won't be unreasonable in dealing him]).

Harris and the GS pick is a pretty good haul, I think.

That could work. Possibly. We might have to throw something else in.

I'd do that 8 days a week.

I'm telling you. There's zero chance the Sixers trade Holiday unless we trade two of Favors/Burks/Hayward/Kanter or possibly Jefferson/Millsap plus one of those four. Hell, we may have to even take on Brand or AI too which we obviously don't want to do. I say this as someone who's (sort of) tight with a journalist who covers the Philly teams.

Anyway, I think would strongly consider it for Kanter plus someone else, maybe Harris. But even then, the salaries don't work.

I sometimes forget where you live. Thanks for the insight.

I'll still pretend it's possible anyway.

We bring the parade and you bring the damn rain.

Sorry. Personally, I think we should pursue him. We have a familiarity in trading with them and I think he's just about an ideal fit though someone about two to three years his senior and therefore more of a vet presence/leader yet in his mold may be even more ideal. I just don't see anything getting it done unless we were to trade Favors.
