Kinda surprised the lack of comments regarding the officiating as it was extremely one sided imo. Paul George particularly, obvious push charge gets the blocking call, should have been charged for rape on many of those so called steals.

I try really hard to never complain about officiating, but yeah, I agree the officiating was pretty one sided at the end. All of the questionable type calls went to the Clippers.

It's pretty frustrating when Rudy gets called for offensive fouls on his screens down the stretch. They can call that every time, yet wait until really crucial moments to get picky.

Unpopular opinion:

Other teams have the athleticism and length to ramp up their defense and make teams extremely uncomfortable.

The Jazz? Have one player who attempts to play defense and a bunch of undersized chucking guards. That’s why the clippers (and other teams) score so much in the 4th when it matters. And when they’re scoring with ease, it puts so much pressure on our offense that we just freeze up.

I didn't get to watch the game but I knew you would blame Donovan somehow. You're more predictable than the sun.

Lmao. I didn't blame Donovan for everything, but who do you think had the ball in his hands during the clutch minutes when the not passing is happenin?

Be real and stop being Dons PR.

The NBA has accomplished it's goal this year, because we are all numb to the incredibly inconsistent and ****** officiating this year. That is what they wanted. Make it chaotic enough that no one notices they are controlling the games more than ever. That's exactly what they wanted from everyone going into the playoffs. Now they can call whatever the **** they want and we will just shrug and say "yep the officiating sucks". It's really put a dark cloud on this season imo. You can't rely on anything from the refs. One day Ingles gets tossed for touching a guy's foot trying to get out of his way, another Gobert is hit above the shoulders by 3 guys and knocked to the floor on a dunk attempt, and no call. Zero consistency. Easily the worst officiated season since I've been a fan. And that's saying something with all the Bavetta years.

I hardly ever agree with CY but 4 turnovers that includes a Chris Weber timeout, a turnover with :50 left, forced shots, and missed layups (again....) in the final 5 minutes had a lot to do with losing.

This. Mitchell is easily the worst "star" in the final minutes of close games. And the stats prove that out. He makes bad decisions and forces things.

But we lost this one due to coaching imo. When we got punched in the mouth and we started to melt, the coach is supposed to rally the troops, give them something to focus on, and keep them engaged in the plan that got them the lead. Instead he more or less let's Mitchell et al just do whatever the **** they want. So hero ball it is. Or maybe that's really what Snyder wanted? In either case, he needs to go. He has zero feel for the flow of the game and zero ability to get his team to rally through the difficult moments.

Like I said, I didn't see the game and haven't watched a highlight (or in our case lowlight). I just knew it was going to be Donovan's fault in Cy's eyes and all the mounting Don haters. That's the mindset this fanbase has taken over the last few months regardless of what actually transpires. It's toxic, constantly negative, and deflating to the entire fanbase.
