Going to be ****ing wild when we win the next 3 games due to Luka being back and getting cooked on defense repeatedly.

No we aren’t if the jazz don’t stop playing dumb lazy basketball. Coach and players. Problem is the perimeter defense plays matador style defense, so the center will continue to leave guys open for three and will continue to not rotate on defense.
No wonder the centers leave everyone open. This team is broken, you can spin it all you want, and be positive. But the jazz have yet to treat these playoffs for what they are, and if they continue this way, they have no shot and a blow out loss could be coming within the next two/three games. But your optimism is cute. Maybe this is why I loved the 90’s so much. That team played every game like it was their last, regular season, preseason playoffs. It didn’t matter. I’m not even sure this team is just happy to be here now.
Then there’s Quin, I’m not even sure he wants to be here? Remember when we were excited about his hiring, remember that game vs OKC many years ago? The jazz were playing much like they are now. Remember how pissed Quin got? What did he utter? I think it was wake the **** up over and over and over again. Where’s that fire at. It’s like he’s not bothering to adjust. It shocked the hell out of me he actually went small the other night, but he did it too late and didn’t stick with it long enough. He went big again when it was still working to what wasn’t working. I think with all the rumors, he’s coaching like he has one foot out the door.
@Elizah Huge I’ve always had the same attitude about the jazz you are displaying, but this year has taken its toll on me. I have no more faith and hope left with this team. In the last thread I posted **** this team!! Trade Mitchell, trade Gobert, trade Bogey, Conley if there’s a team dumb enough to to take the contract of an aging pg. sometimes I hate it when I’m wrong, and I from the start hated the Conley trade. We lost two guys that compete hard all the time, and only know one speed in Crowder and Allen. How different this team would be had we not made this trade.
Personally I think I would enjoy watching a rebuild full of young players and GLeaguers losing, and at least playing hard giving energy on defense and playing as a team on offense.
My rant for the day.

This is how bad Mitchell’s defense was. There were more then a few times Bogey was switched on to Brunson and the mavs would set another screen to get Mitchell as the matchup. I mean normally one might think Bogey in his thirties and I athletic and slow would be better, but nope!!! They felt Mitchell was the easier matchup. Lol

I want to be optimistic but I feel like this team is ready for the end. Season and version. I hope we do start with a new coach and one less of Mitchell or Rudy. I think they really dislike each other. I have been on the trade Don team but watching Rudy the last few maybe he's the one to trade if anyone will take his contract. It just seems like everyone hates playing with him. I'm really starting to think he's the fly in the ointment with this team. The guys just won't give full effort when he's out there like they're trying to expose him.

My wife through her work was offered lower bowl tickets. She asked if I was interested. I told her, “no thanks” and we turned down lower bowl playoff tickets.

That last sentence would also be an indictment on them. If we have guys that aren't committed to winning and would care more about exposing or sticking it to someone than winning, that's a huge problem.

No. No they aren’t. Very expensive. And her work was going to give them to us. But it’s a beautiful Saturday and I really don’t want to blow it watching the crap I’ve seen for well over a year tbh. I remember all too well the Clippers series. I don’t need to see a replay of it.
Hope to get some yard work done instead.

The amount of gaslighting they do on a weekly basis is just insane.

I got offered very expensive seats for a playoff game for my favorite basketball team that I spend hours a day talking about online but I turned them down and am bragging about it on the same site while simultaneously complaining about said team.
Officiating momentum will highly favor Luka down the stretch. Watch if there are momentum shifts, how frequently whistles will be involved. I don’t think we’ve got enough (any) mental toughness to withstand that. Our “it’s just the numbers” coach will sit back and be baffled by the ‘outliers’ and wait for the ‘law of averages’ to catch up.
