Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Like the guys who think we’d be a 35-win team if we did this deal is ****ing hilarious.
I’ll own this one. I do think Rudy is the best player on this team and I think we are like a 40 win team with most of the trades I’ve seen proposed. Pretty normal stuff when you give up the best player in a trade.

But I’m also ok being a 25 win team and blowing it all up. :)

Which is why we find a third team for Capela.

Capela goes to Charlotte while Plumlee comes here. Plumlee makes $10+ less than Capela and Charlotte has the space.

Plumlee is terrible, would rather try to get pick #13 while allowing ATL to keep 16 for sending Capela and then take Mark Williams there or sign Mitchell Robinson.

I know it’s a lot easier to side with the majority on here and be in a circle jerk than to voice some different opinions and challenge group think like myself and LoPo so I don’t necessarily blame some of you.

I don't mind Plumlee for 15-20 minutes a night if it means we get the youth and athleticism elsewhere that we have so sorely lacked. And Plumlee is an expiring. And we could add another C to him, Doke and small ball Collins if we wanted.

Or if we did a Okongwu deal with Atlanta. Plumlee could share C with him, Collins and Doke.

Yes, you miss a ton or you are blatantly being obtuse.

Donovan has a significantly better defensive rating than Trae? It’s because he plays with Gobert.

Conley has good on/off stats? It’s because he plays with Gobert.

Someone literally said yesterday that the reason Donovan is good offensively is because of Gobert.

It’s comments like these that make you guys seem obsessed and out of touch with reality.

Why has nobody addressed this?

To better describe my feelings on acquiring a player like Collins at this juncture of the build: it is like acquiring Al Jefferson or maybe Devin Harris. I just don’t give a **** on the high end. This team would’ve likely had higher highs in the last ten years had they just decided to do the rational thing and cash out their assets and bottom out for a couple of years. The most torturous part of the Corbin years was knowing that the inevitable was being dragged out and the apex of the next build (essentially this one now) was being compromised in the process.

I'm a Don guy. If he gets traded without asking out, I'll be upset.

If he asks out, bye.

It’s not hard to understand. That is the difference between us and a lot of these guys. Tons of people have literally said they will root for Rudy and hope he makes us look bad for trading him lol. Just weird ****.

Then why do you hate our most important player

Our most important player is offensively limited and doesn’t have the impact of other guys getting paid the same amount of money.

It is just a fact that Gobert’s impact on the game isn’t the same in the playoffs as it is in the regular season.
