Ryan or Donovan?we are lead by a child no one really likes and no one dares say to his face what they actually feel.

I don’t know that LA goes for it but this actually solves multiple problems. First, it subs out what I think are the two weakest links in the starting lineup when you consider our makeup as a whole and what direction we need to go. Second, it actually fills both those holes because I’d just start Morris and Mann. Then you get a good bench shooter. His contract sucks, though, but he’s got value in that role. The only thing that would make this trade better is if you could squeeze NAW into it, then you’re looking at Ryan saving another $12M with tax and everything.I’d do Conley/Royce for Morris/Mann/Kennard in a heart beat.

Yet. I hear sometimes trades happen in July and August.Made no trades.
Um the magic?Who says no to this:
Jazz In: Isaac
Jazz Out: Conley
Magic In: LeVert
Magic Out Isaac
Cavs In: Conley
Cavs Out: LeVert
Works on Trade Machine and saves the Jazz $5m
Ive always been a vocal supporter for Conley and it seems there might be a market for him but I'd trade him for a bag of funyuns just to get his contract off the books.
You missed that the summer isn’t over yet.Soooooo
What have we accomplished this summer?
We still don’t have a coach.
Drafted nothing.
Made no trades.
Probably aren’t going to sign anyone of note.
Ummmm. And got really ****** jerseys.
Have I missed anything?
I think a lot of teams are waiting to make trades so they can see how the first wave of free agency plays out.You missed that the summer isn’t over yet.
That and teams waiting for the new cap to be 100% set, contract terms to settle, numbers to sort and solidify, etc.I think a lot of teams are waiting to make trades so they can see how the first wave of free agency plays out.
Once guys like Durant, Irving, Beal, Lavine, Ayton, Bridges, and Brunson make their decisions I assume that we’ll see a lot more activity.
Apparently teams have already started to prepare potential trade packages for Kevin Durant if he becomes available. I’d guess that Chicago, Toronto, and Atlanta are 3 of the teams that are interested in Durant. Which I think definitely slowed down a lot of the momentum on a potential Rudy Gobert trade.
It's guaranteed for like 14 million. That means any team that trades for Conley is either going to have to be willing to eat 14 million, guarantee his total contract to avoid wasting 14 million, or will have to spend a 1st round pick to get off the final year of his deal. It's basically guaranteed.I don't think his contract is that bad. Only two more years and the last year isn't fully guaranteed. I think he'll still be fairly productive next year.
the magic hang up on the conference call.Who says no to this:

They'd need a second scorer desperately and would have a tough time winning games without KD, when he's on rest management, imo.Brooklyn might be even better without Kyrie.
Simmons
Brown
Joe Harris
KD
Claxton
Seth Curry
Mills
Cam Thomas
Sharpe
Whatever is brought in for Kyrie
I can't stand Kyrie so I think it's addition through subtraction. They'd need a second scorer desperately and would have a tough time winning games without KD, when he's on rest management, imo.
Kyrie is one of the elite scorers in the NBA, he'll be a huge loss if they move on.I can't stand Kyrie so I think it's addition through subtraction.
Brown and Harris can spread the floor for KD and Simmons. Cam Thomas is a player with a bunch of scoring potential.
If Brooklyn can strike gold with vet minimum type guys provided that Simmons comes back near his old self, I think they are dangerous. I bet they get THT, Nunn, Stanley Johnson, and a pick out of LA too.
