Mavs do it to get off Bertans massive salary waste and they get a PG to replace Brunson. They can either have a lot of cap-space with D-Lo expiring or re-sign him. All they have to do is give up an unprotected 2026 pick.
Wolves do it for Gobert. They give up 1 B level rookie contract player, a once promising euro rookie who hasnt done anything in two years, and two lottery protected picks in 23 and 25.
Seems fair on all sides, no?
Keep going, you are doing so well!Hope this KD stuff gets done quickly so Rudy can pack his bags. He can hit the weight room and box for another franchise while failing to work on his shot, dribbling or horrendous offense
Nice try all dunks and put backs. Nothing else oh yeah screensKeep going, you are doing so well!

Yeah, I'd disagree. Not enough picks and lottery protected at that? That is a pretty bad return for us.
lol okNice try all dunks and put backs. Nothing else oh yeah screens
Yeah, I'd disagree.
Gobert isnt getting you more than 2 picks. This we get two picks plus two guys who were just 1st round picks, one of which seemingly has starter potential in the league. And who knows what Bolmaro could do if given unlimited opportunity. He's still a ways away, but he has promise if he can develop a shot.
Plus you get the unprotected 2026 pick from the Mavs which could be a potential A+ asset.
Ehh, maybe if they include Dalen Terry.Such a low end return for Gobert. If the Chicago deal was legit we’d get Patrick Williams and a first. This deal just doesn’t do it for me.
Who makes excuses for Gobert's inability to score in isolation?... or will the fanbase always make excuses for his inability to score?
We upgrade offensively in posting up (only) at center. We upgrade offensively at center
I could not possibly care less about Dalen Terry. I also still see Williams as more of a theoretically good player than an actual one. Big ehh to Chicago unless they can find a way to route picks.Ehh, maybe if they include Dalen Terry.
I'd trust the Wolves to be mediocrly good more, like giving us back high teens picks both years vs a late 20 for the Bulls.
I also dont think Patrick Williams is that much better than McDaniels and I dont think Terry is better than Bolmaro.
i wouldn't mind kessler, but in terms of role players on minny, vanderbilt is the prize.I could not possibly care less about Dalen Terry. I also still see Williams as more of a theoretically good player than an actual one. Big ehh to Chicago unless they can find a way to route picks.
I like your Timberwolves/Mavs scenario. But I would really like to add Walker Kessler in there.
I'll have to do a dive I guess but that makes no sense to me unless he suddenly became a shooter or Draymond Green.i wouldn't mind kessler, but in terms of role players on minny, vanderbilt is the prize.
Even via a stretch 5 Rudy could do neitherWe upgrade offensively in posting up (only) at center.
The masses don't clam up he needs more touches he isn't getting the ball enough blah blah blahWho makes excuses for Gobert's inability to score in isolation?
his ability to impact winning and make plays without scoring is elite. just an animal who never stops moving out there.I'll have to do a dive I guess but that makes no sense to me unless he suddenly became a shooter or Draymond Green.
