Jazz are Setting Up a Tank

I dont think it's personal. I just think those players werent that good and Royce was able to net a first so it was an obvious trade.
Well for whatever reason then I think we made a mistake not giving Forest a qualifying offer. He played great D, had the great college resume, was trending upwards and wasn’t going to break the bank.

I don't think its personal.. but I think it may have been a bit of a test... or a sign that we out on Donovan.

Agreed, I think this could be a little bit of Danny saying, “We’ll do our job, you do yours,” to Don.

I also think the Gobert trade is coming sooner rather than later to get value for him before it drops substantially in a year or two, to put better pieces around Don to see if we construct a better “playoff” team while also showing Don he’s our guy, and indirectly, through what I expect would be tough defensive days early on, letting it be known, he has to start playing defense. Gobert could mask much of that before. When he couldn’t because of poor defensive effort from Don (and others), Rudy said ****. Don didn’t like that. If Don gets torched now though without Gobert and our team defensive stats are brutal, he may take it personally. And listen to people not named Rudy or Quin and actually begin to buy in on that end. Sometimes kids listen to one parent but not the other.

Jared Butler gonna start at PG next season and get 25 per game... we don't need Trent.

When you think of how well Paschall and Forrest had been showing out and how little it would have taken to extend qualifying offers (cap problems addressed with Royce and Juan), it’s either some kind of personal or maybe Cy is right and we’re pulling the plug.

Still need a back up.
They may bring Trent back... he won't have a huge market. Come back and sign him for a minimum once we do our other business. If you give him the QO and he just accepts it then you might end up buying him out if you do other stuff. I bet he ends up coming back.

Or we sign all the best performers from SL who decided to bet on themselves and not sign NBA deals.

Nothing happening to report. If they knew something, they would say something as making information public ties into how the are compensated.
I mean Tony and Sarah aren't even talking about anything at all on Twitter (like they usually do when nothing is happening with the Jazz). Andy's been silent today. I guess Eric's been active -- so maybe it's not totally correct to say they've collectively been totally silent. But ...

The 2023 draft thread is going to be so lit. We will have 3-4 picks (maybe more) in the first round. Going to break the posts record for a single thread.

Ferguson_Mellochill gonna need to call the doctor for being hard for longer than 24 hours.

The biggest sign that this is happening or one of them I guess... is that we haven't signed even a cheap wing yet or a BAE level wing or player. Even if you trade Rudy for a couple wings... you still need more. If you are trading Rudy... don't you get in on Hartenstein then... cuz you will need a center.

We up to some ****.
