I'm guessing it will be / should be Bogey.I think they probably trade one of them before then.

Zach Lowe said that he would call Utah (if he was the Magic) for Conley for salary filler and two 2nd rounders.
If we dump Conley for 2nds and an expiring, we can turn cap space in 2023 for more assets. Or we keep Conley and hope we trade him at the deadline for something slightly better.**** that. Ask for a 1st seven years out.
No one is giving us a 1st for Mike Conley.**** that. Ask for a 1st seven years out.
Right now... he would be the one I would hold until the deadline as I think his value is lower than it should be and I could see a team giving up a little more if they had an injury Mike was covering for. I think he is the most amenable to being load managed as well.No one is giving us a 1st for Mike Conley.

At least two of Bogey/JC/Bev/Mike/Beasley get moved before the season I think. Beasley and Mike would be the guys I think can improve their value the most.I think they probably trade one of them before then.
Well that's different.Someone absolutely would attach a 1st with some bad salary for Conley.
And sorry to be a broken record but we can add a few more vet pieces and get both picks they can send. We have a lot of leftover rotation pieces and they have great need for rotation pieces. Not sure if Conley is who they’d want… might prefer getting Bev and JC plus Bogey. I’d do that for one of the picks… if they want Vando then they gotta give the other one.I really like the idea of Conley and Bogey for Westbrook and picks (or just one).
I think BOgey/Conley/Clarkson all probably have more value at the deadline when teams know if they are actually competing or not.
Because they don’t have enough point guards yet (Fultz, Suggs, Anthony)?Zach Lowe said that he would call Utah (if he was the Magic) for Conley for salary filler and two 2nd rounders.
I like rodman too. He got hella rings if I recall. With different rosters i think (bulls, pistons and maybe spurs?)'No one knows what Vanderbilt might be?
He's got 166 games under his belt. He is not like Draymond Green, at all. He's more of a Rodman archetype. He isnt going to have any crazy skill explosion.
Draymond Green is much more than an undersized 5. He's an offensive hub.
I hated it at first but I'm coming around to it. I blame lopo, he made some good points on this. Get Westbrook and buy him out and it gets rid of players and their salaries.I really like the idea of Conley and Bogey for Westbrook and picks (or just one).
If they protect it and it falls in the protections you get nothing. So, regarding the Lakers deal and their picks. If you trade a '29 pick now, how can it be protected? Is that like "top 1-3 protected, if 1-3, does not convey, no compensation"? They can't trade picks in '30 and beyond, after all.
(I'm guessing Lakers _really_ want some protection on those picks)
I'm all for JC staying. One of the few who actually wanted to be here.At least two of Bogey/JC/Bev/Mike/Beasley get moved before the season I think. Beasley and Mike would be the guys I think can improve their value the most.
