Everything in that deal is expiring except ~$2M for the next two years on Maledon and $5M for two years on Nwaba. Not sure if either of those are options or non-guarantees.

They took back salary and we obviously paid a price for the extra year but yeah that signing/trade is so rough.

OKC might have wanted a couple medium contracts… think most of the guys they traded were going to get cut… Houston wanted the pick. Theo sucks… he getting cut I bet.

Us, the Thunder and the Rockets all have 18 players with guaranteed contracts. A lot of guys are going to get waived.

I also saw today that Erick Green, the guy traded for Gobert on draft night, signed a three month deal with a team in Israel. Green and Trey Lyles ultimately bought the Jazz a lot of treasure.

Wonder if Houston will actually play Favors. Think they are at the point of their rebuild where they want to start trying to be a bit more competitive.
