Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

can you confirm that they are, in fact, two separate people?

either way, well done on having those levels of connections
Mike Monty and I are a Trinity type situation... or a human centipede... anyway we all agree some things are happening and some things are not likely to happen but whatever does happen... you heard it here first.

I think the over/under is 2.5 and I’d take the over.
Hope you are right. Hopefully Conley, KO, and Gay lol. Wouldn't mind beasley. Kinda want to keep Clarkson. Would be sad to see vando go but I would understand.

This makes no sense. We get more value for each of those guys sold separately.
None of those guys get firsts with expiring salary attached to them by themselves... if they could the deals would be done.

Which one of those guys is getting a premium 2027 unprotected first? None. All three could maybe get protected firsts back. We also aren’t getting expiring salary back for every player. I’d take doing it all in one swoop rather than trying to do three separate trades. The Lakers first is the best available future first on the market right now.

Did you watch the Mavs game? This group is past the honeymoon stage of being underdogs.
Sad but true. i bought the fools gold and thought we could make noise in the playoffs. I was wrong.

Can't blame him, I think everyone is bored. I really thought more would've happened by now.
Me too... the bosses at ESPN told Woj to tweet something about the Lakers... and that is what he came up with.

Lakers future unprotected first > 3 protected firsts

The Knicks learned this the hard way trading their lottery pick for protected picks. They don’t hold the same value.

I’m still laughing at the fact that he said it will involve rotation players and could happen anytime before the deadline lmao. Can you get any more generic than that.
I'm actually an insider myself (proof: Trust me bro).

Danny (or possibly Zanik) is talking to other teams about possibly trading a "player(s) on the Jazz" - I'm told the return they want would include a player or players, and/or a pick or picks. I've also been told a deal may or may not happen.

Stay tuned.

Depends a lot on the protection, but I'm not sure the Knicks picks are that bad. The Detroit pick might conceivably turn into a 2nd, but I'm pretty sure the other two will convey.

If I were to guess, they will turn into ca 18-20 (Mavs this year), ~10-16 (Wizards in '24, '25 or '26) and the Detroit pick which is no better than 10th, and will be a 2nd if Detroit stays bad until '27. They gave up the 11th pick.

My shot is that we end up with that Milwaukee rookie. I'm all for converting assets for last year's picks if that is what it takes. That strategy has been kind to us thus far.
