Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Yes... I am team tank. I REALLY liked it before... but the pick protections give just a little pause that makes me uneasy. Under the worst case scenario where the pick lands top 4 and we don't get it... I am still cool with it. The cap space and the tank are important aspects of the deal.
I’m pro tank too, but come on we only get one pick and end of bench players that may as well not have been part of the trade, hell, I’d rather have NAW than those two. We should’ve kept NAW and said no thanks to those dudes. The only way I’m happy with this is if we use the laker pick to trade for Luka or jaylen Brown

If Danny wants us to ****ing suck and tank, which he clearly does, we may as well keep Westbrook and let him lead us into a dysfunctional 2nd half of ****. Let him make us cry for the rest of this season. I don't even care at this point. Might as well see him throw a few dimes around and chuck it like Trey Burke now that Sexton is our only PG left who actually belongs in the NBA.

I’m in shock that it actually happened!

I wanted to trade Conley and Beasley. If you go back about 20+ pages to yesterday I said they need to be the first two traded.

We just got the most coveted draft assets on the market without giving up anything significant.

I feel like we dont know what pick it will be so we cant know if it is truly coveted. What if it turns into a swcond round pick or a really late first rounder? Would you still feel like this was a great trade?

Unlike others I won't receive new information and ignore it... and in some cases dig deeper. Its still an acceptable deal and pushes us the direction we should go... just has a little extra downside.

Fair and honestly admirable. Some major copium going on around these parts lol. The trade was a lot worse than we all expected, but the trades we posted were 100% slam dunk trades. This is not a slam dunk but still positive imo. We are in a better than if we had ended up doing nothing, and the alternatives of getting a combo of 1-2 bad first rounders and/or mediocre prospects/players plus bad salary is not something to be frustrated about. Having said that, I think it’s fair to question if we could have gotten more doing a yard sale to different teams.

One of the things about tanking is that on the surface it makes it almost impossible to “lose” a trade deal when you’re sending out vets. But judgement will come when the Jazz actually have to start winning something. At the end of the day, it doesn’t how many assets you acquire, only the end result matters.

We might finally get a triple double out of it at least.

So Conley Beasley Vando and NAW plus two seconds may turn into one second. Such trash!!
If this clarified draft protections are true and our first turns into a second if the lakers finish in the bottom 4 then this trade is really about cap space. Danny is going to have to learn this is Utah and free agent dont flock her for money. Just seems like danny has been smelling his own *** about his wonderful trading skills. His last 2 trades have been badbin terms of assets and more abouy cap space.

The FO stole D-Rose from us. I want to see the wheels fall off with Westbrook. He can be our tank commander. It will be one of those weird random facts where people will someday say, " I didn't know Westbrook played for the Utah Jazz."
