Official Utah/Minnesota/Philadelphia Pick Watch

This is wild. Basically the Mavs cant make Luka sit, but they can make everyone else sit. Wonder what happens this off-season. They are either going to try and swing another desperate trade or maybe get off Luka early and start a new era for cheapo Cuban?

They cant even make up injuries for Green/Wood, just "rest" during a must win to not be eliminated game. This has to be fineable.

Pacers play Detroit tonight and New York for the last game of the season. Knicks are locked into their seeding at 5. They will probably rest their guys. Shot that Indiana also finishes 2-0 and we can coin flip.

Orlando plays Brooklyn tonight, who are probably motivated to win to secure the last non-play in playoff spot. SO probably not much of a shot there.
Heat are sitting all their main guys vs the Wizards tonight and Wizards play Houston for their last game.

A shot they go 2-0 here and we can coin flip them for position.
Big ups for monitoring this and going deeper than I have.

We need to lose both to have any shot at tying someone at 8th.
Oh I know. The term “locked” might not be the most accurate cuz there’s a snowballs chance in hell the Jazz get to 8.

By the way: what happens when three teams finish with the same record? Some kind of specially-designed die is rolled or something?

Gonna laugh when Jaden Hardy scores 50 tonight and the Mavs pissed off Luka for nothing.

How are the Mavs blatantly tanking? They just suck ***. They are the probably the most legitimate bad team of anyone.

Hey

This Bulls v. Mavs tank-off could be one for the ages. The Bulls have locked in their play-in spot and probably want the 10th pick in the draft as much as the Mavs do.

Chi does not keep the pick unless its top 4 but yeah the Mavs are ****ed. they win they still miss the play in and give up their late lottery pick, they lose and still probably get bumped down and lose their pick. thats what they get as far as I can see.

That's right. The Bulls owe the pick to Orlando if they don't move up.

If the Jazz think that Dick has versatility and can playmake, then he becomes a pretty obvious pick at 9 or 10, imo.
He is a long term play imo and not worth it at 9 unless they absolutely are locked into the current back court of THT JC Sexton and Agbaji. I don't see that being very likely.
Now if you think Dick can be our starting sg in the vein of a Klay no handles Thompson that plays elite defense. Sure I can buy that.
Grady playing elite defense seems like a risky bet imo. I have him as a specialist like Joe Harris and thats it

I do think the Bulls are resting everyone since they cannot improve their position in the play in, and cannot lose their spot either, so I guess they might figure a small % chance to move up would be worth tanking this game but its not like they wont beat the Pistons in their last game or that the Mavs wont beat the Spurs lol
